  1. Its Mr Citroen Saxo Man I can hardly talk though because i used to own a saxo vtr http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CY6TGtV_6o4
  2. I'll try and sort the bracket out as soon as ive got some spare time I'll post up on here what happens! Cheers for all your help bucket
  3. Well after numerous runs i cant get the boost up to 0.8 anymore At a guess i need a new actuator? I keep on winding and winding it up but can barley get over 0.5! What do you think would of caused this to happen? Before the turbo was rotated the car was boosting at 0.8 perfectly.
  4. I'll take it for a very quick run up and down the street, all i need to do is get the actuator to 0.8bar again and ill take it off and try and fiddle with the bracket
  5. Its cable tied around my relocated air filter pipe coming from the turbo so its right next to the actuator. Tbh it is holding it tight but obviously if this is going to cause problems i'll have to fiddle with the bracket.
  6. Right ive taken the actuator off and winded it back up to run more boost however instead of bolting it in to the turbo ive cable tied it around the air filter pipe and it is holding strong. Is this safe to do until i get a bracket made up or am i asking for trouble?
  7. So your on about the bracket on the actuator? If so I'll have a go myself ;)
  8. I can't get a picture at the minue but I'll get when asap. It was rotated about 6mm just to make the intercooler piping clear the manifold. How much would the brackets cost and what are they used for?
  9. bump, really need to sort this as i dont want to be running rich!
  10. I'd say get another hybrid turbo if you like the quick spool times. Also, i no the hybrid ct9's cost more than the td04 turbos but after you've bought everything else you need to run it, you would of spent a lot more than just the hybrid! Just my opinion though ;)
  11. It doesn't say hks anywhere on the actuator so I'm guessing it's not. I didn't think the stock actuator had a thread on it to adjust the boost though? At the minute it's set as far up on the thread as possible and that's only 0.3bar. I can't twist it any clOser to the housing of the actuator due to me rotating the turbo.
  12. Cheers for the help guys! Its all on now but im only running 0.3bar boost ;) lol. Is the only way i can get it back up to 0.8 a boost control?
  13. It doesnt seem to reach it anymore or be inline! Heres a couple of pics:
  14. Well some of you may of read yesterday that i needed to rotate my turbo slightly. This has been done by about 6mm but now i cant fit my actuator! When i bolt it onto the turbo it doesnt reach the flap to open and close the wastegate.. I think im right in saying that if i adjust the actuator i upset what boost im running? How else can i sort this if i cant adjust the actuator? Cheers!
  15. How hot would i need to get the pipe though? Would an oven provide enough heat (250'c iirc)
  16. Probably but theres no easy way of doing that really :| plus if i tried i guarantee id snap it haha
  17. hmm, ive just removed that clip and still cant seem to budge the turbo lol.
  18. Is it this that i need to undo to rotate the turbo?
  19. Its the hdi route, the flange seems to be fine its just where the pipe is coming from the flange. The minfold is slightly intruding where the pipe should be going so it doesnt go on fully. At first i did think it was the flange and i ground it down a bit but then found out otherwise lol
  20. Well bought the ram manifold and was told it would fit but the intercooler pipe needs just a tiny bit more room the pipe is touching the manifold and it still needs to be leaning a bit further upwards! Is there anyway I can slightly rotate the turbo without having to buy new brackets and stuff?
  21. Sorry to hear about that mate! Atleast they've said they will probably pay for it! I've heard plenty of these sort of stories (maybe not as bad) and nothing has been paid out! Hope you get it all sorted soon and get your money back! ;)
  22. Ye the products in the Asda range are fairly poor. Get onto some good detailing sites, such as cleanyourcar. Might have to pay a bit more but you get flawless results when used properly!
  23. Just wanted people to post pics of where there Fuel pressure regulators are mounted. Mines just resting on other pipes near the fuel rail and not really mounted anywhere. Cheers! ;)
