I need your help in tempting me to make a 200 mile trip.

Sweet, I drove a 300 mile round trip to pick up a greddy turbo and manifold for my old Altezza. It's worth it if you want it! -
Forum discount? Haha Me and the misses went for 10 nights in Majorca for £500 each all inclusive, might be worth checking out holidays there bud!
-
Lol non taken mate I never disagreed! Haha

It wasn't advertised for sale :-( sorry bud I was gonna knock the door and male an offer! -
An EK9 is still worth 5k-7k out there though, and the costs don't equate to that much tbh. I've imported a car from guernsey, same rules apply
-
Cheers mate! Haha I work in the HQ out on tour, I found it a bit daunting when I nipped out to find 8 Americans sat in a line covering the same job as me working 12 hour shifts! After 7 months working with them I still called them all Bob!

I saw an immaculate salmon pink in London this weekend, I was tempted until the misses said she wouldn't get in it lol -
There's a clean EK9 type R on there going for £1300... Dubious
-
Agreed, they are epic
-
A haa! Jobs a fish they should be in next weekend then :-P cheers for the help mate!

Tescos do dehumidifier pots for a quid. I kept one under the seat of my Teg and it worked a treat lol
-
By barred into place is it just a case of bolting/welding in bits of steel till they line up? Cheers for the help bud :-) Ill take some pics of how it's done once I've figured it out lol
-
I got the seats for £31 off eBay lol I'm willing to work on it a little myself ;-) haha Maybe, but there's opening them a little then opening them enough to travel an extra inch haha
-
Ok then, they are not as simple as a direct bolt in fit. The brackets that hold the celica seat cushion to the original rails don't line up. Did you guys with them fitted just bracket it to the original bolt holes in the celica cushion? Because of the extra width on the celica back rest the rear mounting points for the ep91 rail are pushed out about an inch anyway, which pushes them out of the original alignment. Any ideas? Or is it another case of chopping the feet off the celica rails and welding them onto the starlet rails? The myth of direct fitting celica seats may be busted lol Che

If you could keep it anywhere could you not sorn it and keep it on camp? A lot of insurance companies drop the payments to a pittance if you do that and explain the situation. I got away with it for the 7 months I was out there! And it was another years no claims :-P
-
My misses brought me a pair of Celica seats. I brought myself a rear strut brace and a closed bonnet vent! Too hanging today to fit them though lol
-
Disconnect the battery and smash her under a cover, or better yet do what I did, put her under a cover on the dads drive and get him to fire her up once a week!
-
It's an eBay copy but the accuracy is rediculous. Ill get a snap of my mates genuine ssqv fitted to his evo, I can't tell the difference they even sound identical! I'm a fan of the speedlines ;-) I'm gunning for the OEM+ look externally! Hence trying to cut out the minimum for the cooler :-P Cheers for the comments guys!

Exact same thing happened to a mate of mines corsa! Luckily it was mid day when it flew off and landed in someone's porch. No one about to get flattened lol
-
China prices are a bargain! I'd recommend them to anyone ;-) cheers Beefy! Any news on the mirror?
-
How so? It's the same chassis (bar slightly more flexible in the GT as there's not as much bracing) just a different body.
-
The route the piping takes stops it :-( but I knocked up some custom brackets to pull it real tight to the front of the car, im not personally a huge fan of hacking the hell out of my bumpers so I spent ages getting it tight lol
-
Cheers mate! It needs a bit of adjustment but I needed her back on the road!
