'Good Car' hardly a compliment, same thing people say about people carriers and cheap run arounds, not something that's ment to be on top of the competition!!! would say it's a luke warm hatch, no more, no less! and anyone that's saying that french build quality is better then Toyota is basicly talking out of their arse! people go on about how shit french cars are for a reason, lets not suck cheezy cock because someone drove one once, they are wank, it's like buying food from Tescos, still does the job but you know that M&S tastes better!

4dot brake fluid, some people will go on and on and on about using 5.1 but you really don't need to, 4dot is more then enough

is it really worth it? heard Reading Jap meet is going the same way as the other local night meets went......down hill and full of pikeys guess that could be because it's still dark & cold! TBH i think the best meets i've been too over the past year are the forum arranged ones rather then just the usual crowd standing around McDonalds. e.g. the last guildford mini meet and the HJCC&SJCC Goodwood meet

why not just spend £3k on a faster base car? 189bhp is hardly gona scare the V-tec boys, might make them chuckle when you try take a corner with more weight up-front if you don't spend money on setting up your car to accommodate the new geometry. -
can't comment on the second gen ones, i had the first gen RAW badboys i got mine from Impulse Performance when D2's were a new name in the scene.
-
had them in my daily driver for 2years, they are 'firm' but thats just down to the springs which are changable if you find them too stiff. tbh i have nothing but praise for them, you get use to them, i love my set-up to be hard and i loved every second of them, thats coming from someone that lives in the middle of no where on some propper shitty b-roads best thng i got for the GT and it completly changed the handling for the better! helped keep me to the road like no-ones business! for the money you'll be hard pushed to find anything close to what you get and they are fully adjustable if y

what a joke, i bet they got the Glanza for £2k in the first place! Cowboys

oh and for those who are un-familiar with Trevor, he's been in the starlet scene since before it was all but a twinkle in Toyotas eye! He was the first person kind enough to reply to my newbie post all them years ago when i first got my GT i honestly can't recommend him enough if you are after getting a very clean Starlet!!

how the fuck can you not know who Chuck Norris is yet your able to connect to the internet? is it dark under your stone?

hello & welcome to the site! What is the mpg for this car? you should be able to see 30mpg but it all depends on how you drive and if it's modified. Can I use unleaded or does it have to be super unleaded? they were designed to run on 100ron fuel over in Japan so it's worth while running it on S-Unleaded alough some crazy people don't What are the rough 0-60 times and bhp? about 6.8 sec & 133bhp in Hi-Boost, but it depends where you get your figures from! alough by simply removing the boost restrictor in first you can improve on that! Insurance, cheap? depends on your circu

not sure about it maybe with a white stripe above/below it to accent it more??!?

not only that but sorting out the handling means you can take corners Faster sorting out your brakes means you can get away with late braking which in the long run means you get places Faster ....unless the original post was just based upon acceleration? but yes you should always up-rate handling and braking before upping the power, other wise it might be the fastest 30seconds of your life until you come to a corner or someone pulls out on you

decent suspension set-up and decent brakes will make your car faster! oh and doing a decent service to make sure your getting the best out of what you've already got is a good place to start!

i would get a GT. people constantly asking me what body kit i had on my Micra would piss me off no end if i got a Glanza! think GT's look much more aggresive and less bubbly and girly. it's pretty much down to looks because both are highly tuneable so stock figures mean jack shit and they both roll on the same chassis which can (should) be modified to handle well. oh and the money you save from paying extra to buy/insure a Glanza you could spend on making the GT more fun to drive! did i mention Glanzas look like Micras from the back? i think i did, didn't i? oh yeah i did
