Im sure i read on here somewhere before that 5E's give an extra 40bhp lol that was obviously someone talking crap lol

Tuning developments regularly make 280bhp out of forged 4E's @ 1.4 bar so expect more than that, although in my opinion i would sell the TD04 and pick up a TD05, there reasonably cheap like the TD04 and for say £50 u will see an extra 30-40bhp

Yeah same here mate id rather plough more money into it than buying another car lol they did say they had a few engines in the machine shop and said urs will be a while which pissed me off abit tbh considering mine has been there the most amount of time :/

Just a stage 3 forged engine 5E and turbo kit fitted and mapped, dunno what the hell is going on tbh its taken far too long now other peoples seem to be getting completed when i look on their facebook page but my head is STILL in the machine shop it hasnt even been machined yet so its still gonna take ages..... Getting annoyed now if i had known it was gonna take this long id have bought a second car but I've been lending my mums shes getting slightly annoyed now!

Just get a garret GT30 top mounted turbo kit lol thats by far the best turbo kit on the market in my opinion

I no a guy that had good results on a 5E VF35. Im sure i heard rumours that twin scroll turbos dont work aswell as the well known TD04/05 on our starlets though :/

I wasnt aware that mine was low at the time, I've got a nice Sard gauge to check it when it comes back from tuning developments anyway :-)

^^^ no wonder mine went bang lol, oil pressure dropped to about 0.8 when it started knocking!

No chance mine will be back for this date :-(

Mine was about 1.3 bar on warm idle, when cold it was as high as 5 bar on an unforged 5E

Deffo something im going to think about in tbe future, just wish i had the skills to do it myself :/

Bloody hell lol so i take it you had a shit load of machining done to the head yeah? Suprised u got to over 344bhp with stock cams mate! Might have to look into the head being machined, the only machine work im having done is for the custom cams and shims plus I've got cruise valve springs. Is there any negatives about having head work as not many people seem to do it people just seem to fit cams and valve springs?

Yep thats what i was looking at mate! With a TD stage 3 motor 5E, inlet mani etc i reckon ud see about 370bhp at 1.4 bar if bot more, thats the setup i plan to go for eventually
