right 2nd hand cat it is then...

Right well car (96 glanza V) failed mot today (cat) exhaust has part missing emissions excessive at idle emissions excessive after 2nd idle also ABS lamp not coming on CV gaitor there seems to be so much conflicting info on cats but whats the deal?? does it need one, can i adjust my emange blue to lower the emissions?? abs and cv gaitor not to much bother as im gonna remove all the sensors for the abs

yeh im on 195/50's at the mo but only yaris wheels which are 5.5x15 kinda get the feeling i could have more grip with say a 7" wide but??

as per title all, im looking at getting some new wheels soon and im going more for handling than looks so im after the optimum wheel and tyre sizes??

right guys got my mot due but the abs light is on on the dash... i was thinking of pulling the fuse for the mot.. can anyone point me in the right direction of the correct fuse??? its a 95 glanza V

me and a mate was chatting in the week and he mentioned he had a nos setup tucked away in he's garage somewhere... got me to thinking wether there were any nos'd up starlets out there and wether it was worth the effort???

yeh was a good day out... was my pals first time at the pod so he was dragging me everywhere so he could check it out so i didn't get as much time as i'd have liked to chat to ya'll. good work on sorting it out liam and we made it in ok even if the passes were 'misplaced'

i managed it when i changed mine last weekend... took some working though also got the whiteline on aswell

had rainsports on the glanza when i got it in standard form and thought they were excellent. kept them on whilst i was tuning up towards the 200hp mark and no issues at all. i recently brought a set of slips though with prada 2 fitted and i have noticed the prada's have slightly better dry grip but i defo dont trust them as much as the rainsports in anything other than dry. with regard to the t1r's i used to run these on my mx5's and found they were a good tyre but they also allowed you to brake traction with the rear wheels if ya wanted a little fun so not sure how they would fair up hitting

i've got my tickets from john but i'll aim to make it up there as close to 8 as poss to meet up with you guys

right found the little hole in the footwell under the sound deadening and i can feel the loose nut and end of the bolt. may just have to grind a little panel out to give me a little more acess and then hopefully get it sorted

that'll be the plan if its possible

cheers for the replies guys... if i can get to the nut from the inside then i may just put a standard nut on the back if i can make a hole inside to fit a extended socket down and just cover it over incase i ever need to get there again :s

yeh thats what im bloody thinking....... ahhh what an arse.... gonna limp it down the road to the garage tomorrow as im having a new clutch fitted so they can reassess the issue when up on the ramp.

na i can move the bolt around, in out and angle it side to side but it wont come out and defo wont screw in. as i say it feels as though a nut has come loose and is now on the end of the bolt on the other side of the chassis

Well i got the nearside alk all fitted up nice with new wishbone bushes but the right side has proved to be an absoloute arse!!!!! first of the wishbone bolt had ceased so needed grinding to get out but thankfully local toyota had 1 spare bolt, phew. but today i wanted to finish off so got the new wishbone bushes fitted and the wishbone in place, then came to screw the 2 alk bolts into the chassis, the first went in sweet as but the second got half way in then just went loose!!!!!!! i assume there must have been a welded nut on the back on the floor for the bolt to go into ????? and there see

how do you remove the wing mirrors on a glanza?? also wanna remove the mirror from them as im planning on wrapping them as the paint on them is gash atm thanking you

we should organise somewhere to meet up enroute in that case
