So it's back safe and sound and I'm more than happy with the car. It feels solid, pulls really well and hard at 1 bar.. Here's the graph from the run..
Sounds good dude! could have a good 25+ cars down. Could I just get an idea of who would actually be looking to run their car on the dyno on the day please?..
Haha probably best the list is purely to gauge how many UKStarletOwners are attending the event. Any friends or +1's are more than welcome. Everyone is invited!
Rarely see any modified jap stuff my way and spotted this on its way into Blackpool on the M55. Anyone know who owns it or seen it before!? Not to my taste but like I say, rare to see anything around.
Agree with Gainzy. A boost gauge is a must when modifying these cars. It only takes something to go wrong for a split second and you have a rebuild to do. I would remove the silicone join and just mesh the turbo housing and pop a clamp over it for now (I run my turbo like that daily anyway). Going from a stock intercooler to a front mount will reduce your boost slightly as the FMIC is so much bigger. Get yourself an adjustable actuator if you have not already and this will allow you to adjust the boost level accordingly to compensate for the loss. Check for any vac leaks etc, it only takes a tiny gap in the FMIC piping to get significant boost leak. Matt
I had one a year or so ago on my mrs's N/A and was offered a considerable about of money for it that I turned down. They are by far the best bumper for NA
It wasn't so bad getting off the motorway etc it was just the maze of the industrial estate. Its a little the same in this one tbh, lots of roads but its just straight to the bottom and right.
I run a buddy club spec II.. They were discontinued a long time ago I thought? There a very loud exhaust lol. It's just 3" straight through, no boxes or anything.
