  1. And I was trying to do this without butchering the loom before any confusion
  2. Still lost with this. Managed to get everything now except sound, before it was everything but cassette and aux. realised the looms wiring was different colour when it went into the Toyota adaptor, so I've ordered it so that the stereo wiring goes into different colour then back toyota etc. https://www.dropbox.com/s/z5oqk65ykoxk9xv/Photo%2029-06-2013%2013%2016%2048.jpg
  3. give it a little break for a while, worry about finances elsewhere for a while and when your head is clear return to it
  4. Managed to get as fair as getting the radio to work, but not the cassette/aux, would they have anything to do with the RCA cables being an old system? But now I can't even get it to power on. Checked the radio fuse and it seems fine.
  5. It's gotta toyota to iso adaptor then an iso block, I'll take the risk, but this stereo has pink and brown wires. Does it even matter what colour they wire to?
  6. Basically just got myself this Cassette player with aux, and it comes with pre iso wiring, if I wanted this to fit, would it be a simple case of trimming the wires and fitting them to one half of an iso block like below? https://www.dropbox.com/s/5t46at3nba7saus/Photo%2026-06-2013%2011%2044%2059.jpg
  7. Maybe one of only 3/4 out there, but I don't even think we have 3/4 stock/tidy mk1 gt's here! Welcome

  9. I've just bought this cassette player with aux, god knows how old it is, but that's the point. Anyway, it's got the pre iso way of connecting, and want to fit it. Is it a simple case of trimming it all and wiring to the matching colours on an iso block?
  10. replace it for a 240
  11. not to worry, i've bidded on the only one i can find on ebay, 5 pound with no bids and ends in 3 hours lol. i'm a bit of a music/audio geek and like to make actual tapes on cassette time to time again for the retro feel, but also want the aux quality without any compression if i want to plug my phone in if you get me haha
  12. is yours the 5th gen, maybe interested if it's just the battery that has died? it's ment to be the best sounding ipod they ever made, i'm an audio geek, and on that terms i would fix it
  13. bit of a longshot this, but i have a thing for cassettes, and i know you can just get an ipod adaptor, but i want both, because well i'm a bit of a music geek
  14. I'll be cheeky and offer 45 delivered haha
  15. let me know I HAVE TO GET THIS PINK FUCKER SLAMMED OTHER WISE I WILL BE BUM RAPED. You gonna be keeping both SR's? This was for sale right near me, and I was so gutted I didn't have the money.
  16. Does this mean the DGR's you bought will be up for sale?
  17. I think it was the *cough type of people that fitted my tyre, although I cannot prove it. I think welding is probably a good idea, but i'm not sure if would just weaken the weld and be prone to breaking again in the near future. it's a slight buckle as well
  18. my 14x6 tc05's state 5.00kg on the wheel, that's a funny one.
  19. As above, one of mine has a crack in, which is causing the tyre to deflate within a day. A bloody longshot, but worth a try. Preferably in white, but I would consider 2.
  20. with paul on tango orange a black rim and nuts or something
  21. Tried some different bulbs that I tried to put in before but didn't wanna force, turns out they just clicked in place eventually. Was down to wrong bulbs as these had the correct voltage, cheers guys
  22. central locking is buggered, lock literally falls out the drivers door haha
  23. my mum drives 1.4 6n. no problems apart from the electrics are a sack of shit. doors won't lock properly and it cuts out whilst driving, then comes back to life again. we still haven't got to the root of the problem!
