  1. has anybody got an idea how to remove the the clear plastic lens from the housing of the fog light without breaking it mine is after leaking and i need to take it off and clean it and reseal it
  2. i found my turbo anyway lads going with the new garrett gtx2863r turbo i was working out compressor maps and it could run 2 bar of boost at 4000 rpm not that you could put it to the floor without blowing the g box to bits but its nice to know its there if i need it lol in the process of buying it at the moment and all the goodys with it wastegate all dat stuff i'll get pics up as soon as i can
  3. there will be an update here soon it could be 2 weeks tho got me some new shiny stuff ordered
  4. overfueling???? i thought a fuel cut defender was suppose to trick your ecu into thinking that you are still at standard boost when you are running above standard boost as far as i know it has nothing to do with fueling they only suply a voltage like a resistor the standard boost solenoid creates a voltage and the higher boost the higher voltage so the fcd comes in and keeps the voltage down so the ecu thinks your at standard boost hope you get it sorted anyway
  5. right cool because i have 20 mm spacers on the car to clear the brakes and i was wondering does this affect the offset if so what would my offset be
  6. how do i check the offset of my p1 buddy club sf wheels is it stamped somewhere on the wheel?
  7. looks savage some nice stuff going into it good luck with it
  8. oh ya i agree standalone is much better but if you can get buy on cheaper why not the idea is get the power as cheap as possible maybe in the future i might get a standalone i was thinking link g4 storm looks like a savage ecu
  9. i have prosport gauges there good there only a small bit off the reading of the avcr
  10. true a standalone would be better but he said there is no problem in the emanage blue running it his own sons drift 180sx is running 850cc injectors on e85 which is putting out around 650hp on a emanage blue i have been told been told by loads of people that an emanage blue cannot runing anything over 460 or 480cc injectors properly anyway
  11. i did want 300hp but decided on 400hp to make things interesting just looking at turbo setups at the moment might have something really special lined up something no else is going to have on there car
  12. there is a fella here in cork where im from he buys in performance stuff
  13. in one word SAVAGE would seriously recomend them bit expensive €1100 i think i paid for them
  14. well the only head work i have done is just 3 angle valve cut and port and polish as for ignition the fella mapping it said not to worry the standard one is more then capable of handling it as for ecu i have an emanage blue but he has some other software for mapping on it that allows him to open the ecu up more he wouldn't reli tell me too much about it again he said its more then capable of handling it lol my build tread is there if ya wanna have a look http://www.ukstarletclub.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=49913&st=0&p=644227&#entry644227
  15. if you stamp down on the go pedal you will probaly get 0.6bar i would imagine that there would be no difference in 0.5 to 0.6 anyway
  16. never actuly use this before i used it there and it basicly said to use a from a 2860rs up to 3071r
  17. cool that sounds savage i wouldn't mind seen a video of it if you get the power your looking for i see no problem in you reaching 330 bhp there waas a lad over here in ireland he might be on this site im not sure popsy was runing a td05h 16g on a 4e and got 292bhp at 1.6 bar
  18. it is still a road car so need boost early enough but i do use it on track every so often so i'll need power there .... the other lads car could have major head work done i dont i just have standard 5e cams maybe with cams it might spool it a bit quicker but my budget wont stretch that far the brother is gone down today to find out whats the plan so i'll keep an update anyway with it and see if i ever reach my 400hp target
  19. i think gt 30 will have major lag what about a 2860rs there rated at 320hp but i dont know what boost thats at then
  20. im looking at changing my turbo at the moment and im in the middle of having a war with my brother over which turbo will produce the power i want as above a i want 400hp about 380 at the wheels i have a fully forged 5e my brother reckons gt 2876r turbo but i think it will be too big and too laggy im looking for boost around 3000 - 4000 rpm i'd like to be up around .8, 1.0 bar of boost at those rpm. the person who built the car for me is saying a gt 28 front wheel and housing and a gt 25 back wheel with a .63 housing he reckons with about 2 bar of boost it should produce around 420 hp (fly) im
  21. cool thanks alot of blood sweat and tears has gone in and its still not done cant wait now for my new turbo im going attacking the ep power leader board
  22. Finaly my build Right i've been realy interested in seen what people think of my efforts at tuning my car right so we will get stuck in. engine: evo td04l turbo now gone new turbo planned custom spec Custom spec cp pistons lola steel rods (masive) malhle clevite race bearings 550 cc injectors uprated oil pump something done to water pump aswell cant remember greedy oil cooler with relocation for filter block bored honed and cross lined head has three angle valve cut zep 2mm headgasket toyota full engine gasket kit tranmission: cynos gearbox worst choice ever way too short but did yet it for
  23. right the car is off the road at the moment was runing a td04l on a 5e but the turbo packed up so im deciding to go with a new set up and runing a external wastegate whats the difference between them like price some are cheap and others are reli expenisve and how to i know what is the best for my car?
