  1. basically inside the engine you have moving parts i.e. pistons rods an crank. as they all move the air is getting pushed about inside the engine, air is drawn in through the filter and pushed back out again every time the engine turns one rpm. it is so there is no vacuum or pressure build up
  2. sound interesting geo. i ve 2 results no for running about 15psi. both vary because of the intake!!
  3. welcome to the site tomo thats a very loud starlet you have!!
  4. welcome to the site trevor!! hope you will be able to help out someof the members on here!! gerard
  5. i had Geo but the saturday before i had upped the boost a little but the boost started to drop off around the 5500rpm mark. havent had time to investigate it as the car was going for a clutch and i was working a lot
  6. it is a g-spec. we as in Jay cut the part of the efi pipe that fits over the ct9 off then we jubilee clip over the turbo and the other over the efi pipe where it gets smaller and then bolt it back into its origional bolts holes. i had a nice piece of pipe to go onto the turbo to bring the foilter out to the front but it woulnt fit between the WEPR intercooler pipe and the radiator
  7. wel noel how are ya? long time no see or hear form!!
  8. blitz access ecu, blitz decat, full exhaust unknown. road runner exhaust manifold. hks actuator, g spec hybrid. pipercross filter, trd clutch and pressure plate and uprated pump, wepr front mount aswell might have forgotten something put the efi pipe back on which would explain the lower power figure compared to the last one but it has increased the torque
  9. Was at the rolling road yesterday with TGTT this is the print out of my result @14psi
  10. i take it the n\a ep82 manifold bolted up differently than the old ep91 one i had? Vboi its a devider to send the exhaust gases from two cylinders down one side and the other two down the other side. better flow. if it was possible to measure that up you could get a better flowing manifold made up
  11. definately dont think its better than a normal GT front end. though shows what can be done if you havent got the available parts on hand like we have over here!!
  12. which Turbo are you running Enzo? and what boost?
  13. that car was on piston heads?? think i seen it there!! sounds like a car for the RR day on the 22nd of march!!
  14. very nice mate!! i ve a load of shinye bits sitting at home waiting to go on!
  15. http://www.ukstarletclub.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=6350 have a look at that topic mate there is a lot of info in there gerard
  16. Yeah Geo about 15psi. though at the minute it was only with mesh on the intake of the turbo which should explain the lower torque figure
  17. Geo i have a G spec that i had bought of Kitaro. i presum its the same? at the RR day we had i got 201bhp at the flywheel. but the torqure was quite low down but i think that was due to the intake side that i had. once i get it sorted out i ll try and run again and see wat we get. so far i am happy with it. it pulls well.
  18. Has there been any more development with these ct9 turbo's, is there many members off the site running the at the minute? and has there been many rolling road results
