Just seen this thread so i may aswell ad to it! i live in south wales and i went on a roadtrip to north wales to buy a glanza bumper off him, that was addvertised for £40 then sold it to me for £30 and gave me clear side repeaters and fitted them for me there and then without me even asking haha, just sort of slipped them on during conversation ;) really nice genuine guy would definatley buy from him again if he had anything else for sale ahaha

I havent got alot of money at the moment and i would love a 96 lip or something to set it off, but realisticly i cant afford something like that, ive got the renault laguna splitter on it at the moment, and its a rarer one than the others because its got the elxtra lip at the bottom and i dont really like it anymore, used to love it but i got it cheap-ish looking at the prices they normally go for. anywayz, what car could i get a nice front splitter off to fit a glanza bumper? ive seen loads of people on here have different ones on like a proton i think, seat splitters loads of different ones, anyone know any good ones that arent that popular that i might have a chance of getting hold of one from a scrap yard or something? just really fancy a new splitter. also any pictures of your splitters wouldent harm but i wouldent want to copy whatever you have ahah Thanks

Still got alot left to do on this but i thought i would update with pictures as it stands at the moment.. In the first few pictures it was just after i spent 4&1/2 hours using paint cleaner, polish then wax on it, and cleaning the wheels etc. can you notice how shiny its come up? it could do with it doing maybe one or two times more to bring it up proper but it looks alot better... Before: After: I know the overspray is still on the numperplate but if you look in the pictures that are about to follow they overspray is off too and all the other overspray on the car is gone so it looks alot more cleaner and tidier now. and i fixed my drivers side skirt because it dropped down slightly..got some glanza headlights in the post, should be recieving them either tomorrow or the day after then lowering springs in march. also my dad has a compressor and has offered to respray my front+back bumpers for me so they will look nice and shiny, then it might start looking better then Thanks

Also, thinking about taking someone with me, but they might pull out because he might be away so if he does come he can pay on the gate cant he?

so you know if i pay for this with you, will i be on a uksc stand? just i was wondering thats all because i dont really want to leave it in the normal car park i would like to be on a stand, and ive got a few months to get my car into shape and looking good i will pay for this either today or tomorrow. yeah ive seen about 3 or 4 different glanzas in the past few weeks, think ive seen the same silver one as you amjad. they dont seem like enthusiats though because ive been parked next to them etc and they havent even glanced at my car. haha i was going to put 'glanzed' but i havent seen any modified starlets or any glanzas around at all, but in the past few weeks ive seen quite a few its mad..

nah its alright mate i dont mind constructive critism, and ive looked through your build thread and yours is really nice so i can see that you know what looks good and what doesnt since ive put the wheels on ive thought too that theres a little too much black so i was considering spraying the skirts red but i really want to keep the spoiler and bonnet black though. but dont worry its not harsh like, i am doing it up bit by bit so any constructive critism would be nice and yeah i bought the wheels this month so im going to have to wait untill next month for the headlights etc which is annoying but ive spent so much money on this car already i need to start spending my money wisely in little bits but anyway thanks mate and @hair bit harsh isnt it? any need in that. at least im still driving my starlet and i love it. i dont want it be completley plain i want my own stamp on it....

I ran out of petrol in a massive multistory car park. i ran out as i was coming in but managed to park it. so when i came back to it it wouldent start at all. so i just pushed it out having to get my girlfriend to whip up the handbrake all the time when i was reaching the car infront because there was bumper to bumper traffic coming out of the car park for a good half hour 45 minutes, and i was on the 5th floor. fun fun fun

does it seem weird looking at your alloys on a different car ?

Bit of an update, got my alloys last night and spent all day today spraying them up some pictures to follow.. The night i bought them The difference between the one i sprayed. Cant belive i was driving around with these skinny things on for nearly 2 years! feels so much better, the tyres are almost twice the thickness! so much better. Heres some pictures after a nice wash and with the alloys on looks sooo much better, just needs lowering like 40mm and glanza headlights, but they will have to wait untill my next paycheck which is annoying but oh well, step by step its getting there. what is everyones thoughts on the black&red theme i have going on also? also i will have to get some pictures posted up of the interior because its stripped out of the back and inside is all black and red just like the outside.. anyway enough rambling heres the pics. What do you think ?

Thanks guys means alot its come a long way from the first page ahah, ive done a few little things since the last update but ill post pictures when ive got some new wheels on it, hopefully after friday when i get paid, will just need to be lowered then !

basicly messing around with the lights behind the dash, the ones that light up all the heating instruments... and i cut the wires because i was going to join LED's to them but basicly something happened and now my lights dont work. nothing works, the full beam dipped or high beam and theres no lights on my dash. if it is a fuse then can you please let me know where the fuse is in the car and what amp i need. ive looked on the fuse box in the engine bay and cant see which fuse it is. someone please help because ive got work at 11.30 untill later and ill need to drive home and i cant drive home without any lights i work in a supermarket so i should be able to get hold of fuses etc during the day.

Alright guys just another update with a few pictures Got a black glanza bonnet the other day from bristol and i finished spraying my front glanza bumper red and meshed the scoop of the bonnet and the front bumper which looks much better and sprayed the mesh black as you can see, and i resprayed the back bumper so its not orange anymore. the foglights are black because they dont work and there broke anyway so i just sprayed them black untill i get proper fog lights in there. and i sprayed my splitter red aswell so it now looks like one full bumper which i think looks much better also my interior is completley stripped out. just need the black wheels now and lower it as i resprayed the skirts+spoiler a darker black because im going for a red and black theme incase anyone didnt notice ;) please let me know what you think pictures follow: what do you think ?

ahah cheers mate, I told you how white they were didn't I ;) can't wait to get my black glanza bonnet tomorrow thinking about either sppraying the scoop red or having it as perspex and having my rocker cover red with the Toyota writing in white, what do you guys think ? all I need then is the headlights and ill give it a compound polish and wax so it comes up red again and then I can sort out bucket seats etc for the interior. oh and wheels are a must! can't wait to get paid I'm buying Ryan langs old wolfrace ones. just need to buy some decent tyres for them

Thanks mate just desperate for some 15" wheels now! picking up a glanza bonnet in black on saturday then all i need is the glanza headlights then i can concerntrate on the interior then hopefully.

How do you do it ? i guess that i can wire it up somehow with my back fog light so when i press the switch they come on. but how do you plug them in etc? Im on about the front two foglights by the way on the glanza front bumper

Only got a few photos to add but done a shit load since my last update. A few mods that some will like and a few some probably wont like. i know alot will like to see the skirts and spoiler red as red glanzas are rare. but i like them black because i will eventually be getting a black glanza bonnet to match which i think will look smart As you can see ive got near enough the full glanza bodykit. Just need the bonnet and the headlights and its a full replica. apart from the lowering and the wheels. The next thing in the meantime is to fit my paseo clocks which i bought off redz11 along with the glanza front bumper which i havent finished respraying yet. Like i say ive done everything on this car myself so i am very proud of it in my own way and i love it to bits. The back seats and back carpet is gone, along with the handbrake and gear surround. which looks nice just need bucket seats+harnesses now Anyway have a look at the pictures and let me know what you think. I know its not perfect but like i say ive done it all myself and because of this it has pushed me into going back to college and doing mechanics which im starting up in the summer

Basicly in Tesco's car park at like midnightish with my mate in the car, and someone came to the door and opened it and put a metal pole to my mates throat and was like get out the car and tried grabbing the keys and everything and we stopped him from getting the keys anah. then my mate grabbed the pole off him and got out the car, and i jumped in the drivers seat (my mate was in the drivers seat of my car) and spun round to where he was opened the door and pulled him in then drove off police caught him, now hes being done for attempted robery and assualt on me and my mate just mad like, that day i put a glanza spoiler on, back bumper side skirts and a laguna vented front splitter, and its just mad to think all that work that ive done over the past year could of just been wrapped around a lampost by some crackhead but atleast hes going to be put away now probably not for long though, the police are jokes. had to give my car into the policestation for evidence and everything ahah. so be warned
