  1. Sooo, havent posted in a while, didnt ever really continue updating my thread of EP3 ownership - which can be found at: - http://www.ukstarletowners.com/topic/57158-dangep91s-please-dont-murder-me-in-my-sleep-ep3/ Anyway, story, a friend of mine bought a nice facelift ek9 in championship white. Low mileage etc. Ive always loved them since i first got into cars, and was exceptionally envious. Fortunately for me he found himself in money struggles, not so fortunate for him, however i decided to help him out by buying the ek9 off him part-ex with my ep3 (ok, so really i just wanted the ek9). It was a hard decision as i loved my ep3, got her handling really well, and really knew the car! I decided about a week into ownership that i didnt regret my decision at all. The ek handles as well, standard, as my ep3 ever did, a lot to do with the lsd i think. I never realised how much difference the diff makes! Foolish really... Also the speed difference was not enough to put me off at all. All i had to do was get a standard exhaust shipped from jdm land (which my mate had already ordered, so no problems there) to make her totally stock. But anyways, i'll let the few pictures i have do the talking... Ive just noticed how obvious the tape covering the 'k' is in this photo. I swear its practically invisible in person. So there she is. Plan is to keep her standard until after japfest and just change service items, and sort out the two chips on the splitter, then perhaps ill think about mods, on the basis that i keep the standard items so that she can be reverted in future. hope you like!
  2. Hope you dont mind if i join in my stock ek9. Can't be dealing with the children that are type-r owners club. Plus friends in ukso EDIT: Naturally i understand that id have to hide it away at the back f the stand
  3. Looking good mate! Love those sexy welds! ;)
  4. Yet another starlet in guernsey! We'll have enough for our own local club meets soon - guess I'll have to get another one then ;)
  5. I second this, she was mega fast! Shame about the Pcv issues! I would have liked to have seen more, definitely a fantastic buy for a lucky new owner!
  6. Flinty gets my vote ;)
  7. Cheers! I can appreciate that just needed a clean car and a decent location to be fair! That's the raw image too, I try not to edit, hence why I forget to watermark haha ;)
  8. I'm gonna have to start watermarking these flint ;) haha.
  9. Plasti dip is good if you want a few pictures I'll inbox you
  10. Looking good mate they did me well and I hope they'll last you as long as necessary ;) go meister over bc in my opinion though ;)
  11. Bought some meister-r's from iddy in the last two weeks, he sorted me out quickly and the delivery came on the day he said, which was very soon after the transactions had been made, once again, top service, top bloke! Highly recommended!! Thanks mate :-)
  12. Can't wait to see the fronts on all fixed and healthy dude, should've sorted them myself but meh, ill leave the ballaches to you
  13. Looked awesome at japfest dude, one of my favourite starlets for sure
  14. Was a mega day awesome to meet those I did, regardless of how briefly! shame coming from oversees means that shows etc are too expensive to warrant coming over for them all! :/ thanks all for an epic day!
  15. Damn... Mine were £15...
  16. So I sold this V a long time ago, but I can safely say she's definitely dead now! Poor thing! For any spares, please contact TrisK, as the car was in full running order but the new owner simply reshelled the motor as the bodywork was crap on this one.
  17. My V had 151,000km on the clock when I bought it, did when I sold it too Engine was sweet as a nut though
  18. Once again, Barry boys never ceases to amaze! Check these wonderful machines out... http://www.barryboys.co.uk/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=38243 I don't know how people do this and think 'yeah that looks ten times better' ... Madness.
  19. Can't find the bigger thread so it's going here! Excellent customer service, always excelling with responses to my questions, and intermittently giving advice when necessary! Never had any issue with the items bought and they always come fast thanks Iddy!
  20. Should have made a mention a long time ago - as for spares I've got from Idrees personally, they've been spot on, well priced, and arrived in quick time, which is great as they need to come overseas! Business related sales ill post in 'Idrees - ID-WORKZ' Excellent seller, recommended!
  21. Good plan ;) couldn't count on my girlfriend to do that, mainly because she can't drive... Then again, where I live - any garage is a maximum of 25 minutes tow away Glad she's getting sorted mate!
  22. That's my line of thinking! Unfortunately mines still pretty standard... Give me a year
  23. Hahaha! As for the ep3, they are common, doesn't make them any worse looking/of a car. I love mine, it's a great car to drive, and something has to be said for a quick n/a - don't get me wrong, I preferred the starlet but at the time it was more cost effective to sell it at the time and get a new car, than fork out loads fixing it, and I'd always wanted to try out an ep3 so why the hell not!
  24. You somehow didn't screenshot my reply to this at least I drove my starlet ;)
