i am running my glanza at 1 bar i have a rrfpr set at 3.1bar and a hks fcd set at 9 but not decatted as yet (but i do have one), i know im gonna get get people saying get it rolling roaded and that, which i am in the process of doing but i wanna get my last few mods before hand. anyway back to the problem at hand i had been hitting fuel cut and it was bringing up the the engine management light so i changed the fcd as i suspected a faulty fcd but now with new fcd fitted im getting no engine management light but still the ocassional jolt hinting its still hitting fuel cut. my question is my fue

i had white paint thrown over mine a few years back !

that really looks like it fits well, did you cut any of the bumper off the back or does it sit flush against it ?
-
so its not really the overall size of the fmic, its more to do with the depth to stop it pushing the bumper out ?
-
When you say a smaller core are you tralking along the lines of this size ? Core size: 540mm x 140mm x 65mm would it be possible to fit this without any cutting of the bumper and no moving of the reg plate ?
-
i run a top mounted rx7 intercooler at 1 bar on a toy tuning ct9 hybrid and i have no problems at present, but i do totally see why a fmic would be better but its just purely the butchering of the front bumper is my one and only reason to not go fmic !

hit fuel cut earlier at just over a ton today im thinking maybe its my rrfpr needs turning up as it was set 45psi with the vaccum off, which seems to drop the psi a little when i put the vaccum back on ? by the way sorry for hijacking your post matt lol

im not sure because i did have it on number 8 as was still hitting fuel cut every now and then maybe it changes the level that fuel cut is ?
-
i would also like to know whats the numbers represent ? as far as i can work out simply is that less is more, i.e the lower the number the less chance of hitting fuel cut so more boost is possible., so essentially number 12 is stock setting and anything lower is some form of fuel cut depending on supporting mods blah blah blah obvously youd need a rrfpr to compliment this but im around no 7 for a bar of boost with 45psi on rrfpr am running fine atm but in all fairness should be set properly by a tuner which will be done shortly just a few more mods to go !! hope this helps
