russ78 replied to jayc-glanza17's topic in EP91 Glanza Progress Blogs
Man you gonna need some huge fog lights to fit in there like some old skool hella fogs haha But no seriously it's hard to believe that exact bumper and splitter combo was in the wall at Silverstone last summer... -
These should also fit comes complete with rebuild kit although cannot comment on quality as I've not used them http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&id=151819955455&alt=web

Best place to get a starlet remapped in Essex area
russ78 replied to Benb18's topic in Performance & Track Days
As Jack says mappers normally have several ecu brands that they will map and several they won't even touch, My advise is if you don't yet have a ecu ring round the mappers in Essex and get some advise from there prospective buddy -

its a full rebuild kit for a pair of single pots buddy I cross referenced the part numbers to be sure and its not what your after Levin twinpots have dual 40mm pistons which can also be cross referenced to celicas having the same so these are exactly what your after http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/310732497961?_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT

I NEED SOME REAR DISCS AND PADS FOR MY EP91 96 GLANZA TODAY
russ78 replied to GlanzaNottz's topic in Wanted
I have some used rear discs with bearings still pressed plenty of life for a cheap price. pm me -
stock astra discs come 280mm and need to be machined down as stated mk1 mr2 discs will fit but are the same as corolla discs which are quite a substancial amount thinner than astra discs and not really an upgrade to stock starlet discs just a heads up I know exactly what setup you have there if you require any info or parts feel free to drop me a pm
-
e10 carriers run a much thinner disc than celica carriers not worth the effort imo as they wont dissipate heat much better than stock starlet discs I have a set lying around from researching setups I can get up a comparison pic if anyone wants
-
I have all 3 of these buddy drop me a pm
-
That kinda compression result is consistent with an old stock engine Imo I would say rings are nearing the end of there life Has it had an Uprated Headgasket by any chance ?
-
Not always best to go with cheapest brand buddy
-
Astra discs 100% need a spigot ring centre bore is 60mm and needs to be reduced to 55mm or 54mm for older gt's Spacers are sometimes required between disc and wheel to give more clearance for the carrier/caliper to stop it rubbing on the inner wheel, this is always dependant of the brand and size etc of the wheels
-
Try another decent brand compression tester as urs may be fucked
-
Thats is a little low buddy have you not had any other symptoms
