i have had a go at by passing the tb of coolant pipes using the old tb to keep all water away from the intake. or is there another water source? could or would an oil change make a difference as to whether or not it smoked/steamed?
white gunk on oil filler cap, excessive smoke from exhaust, coolant in rad has an oily texture this has all happened after changing my manifold for a corrolla manifold.
could that be the cause to my steam? i fitted my corolla manifold and now it steams, its a 4efe would it cause it to let in water if i had knocked it a bit?
did it make it smoke white? theres a fair bit of water forming in the bottom of the backbox on the tip but is this not normal? bit of black in the water too, just soot isnt it?
before during when i by passed it the check for leaks at tb power steering on right ones bit of water here but been running it without since finding the problem this was in clouds that meant you couldnt see the back of the car
just ran it again got it a bit warm. turned it off. started it and let it idle which it did then the idle went below usual so swithed off. pics are coming by the way
no but i didnt run it for long. you can smell the coolant in the exhaust gases at the back. whether its still going in the block or not is the thing thats worrying me. i'll get some now, what do you want to see? thanks for the advice by the way guys
