  1. Are the pipes in the engine bay going through the bulkhead hot? If not then the water won't be getting to the matrix otherwise the lever rod wont be opening the vent as CAT said
  2. Loving the build Mark! Need to have a passenger ride in this once its mapped for the 18g! Running 359bhp it was scary enough!
  3. The rear light section of the wiring loom for sale? The bit that just unplugs behind the trim.
  4. What diameter is the exhaust? Would you split for just the b pipe?
  5. It's a TRD LSD. Don't know what sort of knick the diff is in as it was quite clunky but that's normal for mechanical diffs I believe.
  6. I'm sure it's just the syncro's that are worn in 2nd and 3rd otherwise the box was fine but I don't want to put a box with this weak points on the car as it'll be running 300+bhp. Can you offer any kind of courier service or if I can palletise the box can you then return it once overhauled?

  8. Before finishing off my build the LSD box I have needs an overhaul as a couple of gears were crunching when I had it on my last starlet. Is there anywhere that I can send it off too that anyone would recommend? Has anyone tried this themselves? A few guys at my work (I work with motors/pumps for offshore) said it's a bastard of a job to change syncros etc. I'm in Aberdeenshire but can travel a wee bit to get it done although I'd rather send it off

The air con in my starlet was already removed from the engine previously but I decided seeings as it is now a bare shell to be rebuilt I might as well remove the unit from the inside under where the dash is to get rid of the nasty looking pipe ends in the engine bay. I removed the black box nearer the centre and the white box to the passenger side. Is there anything else to remove? Is the white box to be removed or should that be refitted? Doesn't make much sense but those who have done it before should catch my drift!
  13. I'm in Aberdeen itself quite often but stay in Portlethen. Starlet's off the road currently and I'm driving my Pulsar at the moment. We should organise a meet sometime after winter when everyone's car's are working again! haha

  18. Haha lucky you I was stuck there since 8/9 in the morning until 5!! Was such a long day. At least the weather was fine I guess! Patches that sticker was on a mate 205 haha it's brilliant! Relevant seeing as he spent over a year swapping the engine and trying to get the thing to run!
  19. Mine was the silver one with the jap plates outside. And Ryan it was extortionate prices to get in! Pretty sure it was a tenner last time I went. Personally I found it a tad tedious after a few hours. The 'entertainment' in the arena was horrendous. Prefer having a good rasp at Crail in all honesty!
