Injectors blocked!? Could be a shout. Mines has a problem like this. But it's with my idle. Will idle fine then when u drive it for a bit then stop at a junction or lights it drops off idle and cuts out then it starts fine but drops off again so a need to stop and adjust the idle screw so the revs are up. I've been told to try a good set of injectors as they could be blocked...

Done most of the work on this car and engine wise it's a cracker but needs attention to the body work. Wee heads up kearin. U'v not listed the wheels, suspension, adjustable panhard rod n all the other bits n bobs. Need to get that all in to sell it mate so people know what there getting. 👍 al teach u one day 😜

Can anyone tell me how to remove the piston from the rod tryed heating the rod and supposedly the small end bearing should just slide out??? Is this right? Mines is solid.

What a day a had too guys was good to meet some of u's at last. Far to many of us to meet everyone. Was ram packed. Me and Shaun are both like lobsters. 😓. First show down south and certainly not the last. Just need to make sure mines makes it and am not shotgun lol.

Was a really good day and a good turn out too. Love that even thow the weather was Shit people stayed most of the day. Let's hope we see some pics in banzai. 👍

As above got a quick question on how to get the oil pump off the crank?? Av stripped the crank out my fte and now it's like the crankshaft belt pully is holdin the oil pump on. Should it just come away or does it need a bit of persuasion?? Here's a pic to give u an idea!! Any help would be grait. Cheers

Just thought a would update this as Av not posted in a while on the build thread. Recent pic of the car... Cars really gettin on well and I'm seriously thinking on forged now as my engine is weeping oil from the crankshaft seals.any excuse eh ha. Finally picked these wee beauty's back up from the powder coaters last wk to too... Just need tyres n new valves now and there good to go. Really happy with how they turned out in the end.Also have my race spec rocker in the same colour on the car now To. Here's some more pics. Looking nice and clean!!!! 👍

Yes your prob ryt. A thought u had already stripped the head back off and down. Prob be best to give it to an engineering company to deal with. Give them the bolt and tell them what your after. Don't give up tho mate. Would be a shame..

If it's snapped at the head of the bolt and there is some thread left a would use a hack saw to cut a slot through the middle of it and use an impact flat head screwdriver to shock it and turn at the same time!!!

Basicly stuck here. My pal phoned me today to say he had water in his oil after gettin a bit of work done by a garage. Sure enough wen a turned up there was white gunk on the oil cap. I started by checking the water and vac lines wernt mixed up on the throttle body but they were all correct. Next a took the rocker cover off to find this... The guy in the garage said it could be condensation in the engine but at the same time he's done the head gasket. A was thinking he has put an 4efe one on but they look the exact same as the fte ones. Are they different? Any other things a should be checki

Awrighty bud is it kl to get the rods n pistons off u. Only need one but Al take what u have. Also u don't have a crank lien about do u?

Turned out it was something on the oil pump that had been rubbing and it finaly made its way through.

Klkl mate al go with experience then I have just text him to ask if oil came out the breather on the rocker cover so I will let u know what he says.

Would that cause it to spray all its oil out thow?. he said that it was runnin fine when it happened and there was no sign of the car lossing any compression when he was driving it at the time. Would u not feel the car losing power?
