Just a quick update as I've had like 15 pm's on fb, texts, calls and al the rest. Can't keep up with it all haha! So sorry to those I haven't replied to. Anyway, some good and bad news regarding yesterday and how it went. The car made 308bhp (highest boost), which I was happy with in the end considering my head gasket is gone. So yeah that was the bad news there too! We noticed some oil weeping from the head (strangely not on coolant side). So we had a chat and all decided to run some boost through it and simply see what happens! I laughed because the first pull it made was 225bhp at 0.9bar

As some will know I'm heading to T.D on Friday to get the car mapped! But my question is this. What in fucks name do people do from 9:30am til 3:30pm while the ecu is being fitted and the car gets mapped. Does anyone live local to there that wants to meet up? Or what do you do in general while waiting around? We'll probs hang around for a bit and watch them get started then head off for some food and that til it's done. Got to leave at like 4:30am to arrive for 9:30am lol. Long united.

Hi, My m.o.t has ran out yesterday and I've only just noticed that it ran out. Can I still drive the car without getting pulled over by the police? How long do I have til it will become illegal? Hopefully getting it done on Saturday but want to know if it's ok to drive it til then as the car is getting mapped on Friday!! Thanks.

Fill coolant up in rad, leave rad cap off, turn car on and heaters on full til the coolant starts to bubble. If it idles fine and drives fine after that it will be ok. I've always done it like that til the fan has come on and til it's bubbled up and never had a problem. Edit - It might take a bit longer than usual to get heat through it til the fan comes on as it's only on idle. Obviously the fan comes on after a hard/long drive.
