so is a stock gasket the same size as a ATHENA 1.2MM ? or is that 1.2 when crushed ?

hi guys , I've had my head skimmed at work and he took 0.114mm off. the block is standard. What thickness is the Stock head gasket ? i will be running higher boost .8 - .9 eventually and is it work getting a 1.2/4mm head gasket Thanks dave

well had a decent quote from elephant, £900 for me sleeper with 8 mods declared thats with %26 or more BHP increase may be because I've been with them for a couple of years? but specialist insures wouldn't even quote me?

And I can't even get a quote on my 5 door 4efte sleeper !:@ keep it as a 1.3 n/a on log book till I have 3 years NBC maybe ? Any opinions ? Dave

little update bearings ordered cranks been re-ground .25 undersize on the big ends purchased some used rods ready for crack testing and shot peening all at a little stand still atm as i have to pay my mum back for insurance and its not cheap at my age :'(
