  3. Doesn't really rasp as I got me mate to do a drive by for me on a quiet road in the middle of nowhere. Sounds deep and roary untill near the rev limit then its a bit tinny...
  4. Got my decat on saturday, Its quite loud due to the backbox and It has improved the performance quite a bit, power comes in a bit earlier and I definatly need to raise the rev limit. I am using standard exhaust plus decat (same size diameter) and backbox. Will need to get this dyno'd again.

Well compared to my 1.3 mk4 fiest its like comparing a .50 cal bullet to throwing a rock (bit of an excessive exaggeration but thats me ;) ) If I ever get round to a bluewater meet I could take ya for a blast down the dual caridgeways, as long as I get a ride in the GT as I'm still a gt turbo/glanza vergin
  8. Its a good torquey engine as standard if lacking in power higher up the rev range. With rolla mani it loses a bit of mid range grunt but pulls better higher up. Its also the gearbox matters aswell as it seems to be quite a close ratio setup. I must admit it does run out of puff at about 90 mph and the standard rev limit could be uped abit to help acceleration, because when changing from 1st to second theres a dip in power and then it picks up again (thats from my own personal experiance of one starlet)
  9. Flat? with the rolla mani its anything but flat with vertually standard system ;) I was gona try get one booked in tommorow. I'll see how it compares with the standard system and with a decat pipe keeping the middle box and standard pipework. Would be good to get it made and take it to a dyno swapping it over on a second run like muddyell did with the manifold.
  10. The N/A gearbox is what makes it a good car anyway, Its got closer ratios than the Glanza's which make 0-60s alot more fun...
  11. Spotted a silver Glanza around dartfor near that sports centre, didn't catch any details as I only saw it as it went passed the other way. Also does anyone here with a white glanza go to the Tescos in sidcup/ruxley/st mary cray (all the same) ?

Yes but if it measures your average speed and everyone on the motorway is doing 69 mph how the hell are you supposed to overtake, turn off when in the middle lane or outside, let someone off a slip road by moving out into the middle lane... Brake so your going slower than the inside lane or slower than the faster moving traffic? Makes perfect sence that, that will definatly cure congestion on our roads, take a look at the m25 dartford tunnle bound at 7:30 pm Saturday between a20 and a2 everyone is doing 50mph so the traffic just piles up then as you get passed the a2 junction its fine (well

  23. The corrolla has the tubular manifold, possible slightly bigger injectors to go with the increased airflow (although unlikely) and maybe a better map to go with the two. Someone did try the ECU but the engine didn't start - either emoboliser or ICV
