fmic is always better, its huge in comparison to any top mount you could fit to the stock pipes, it also will get a much better flow of cold air

the bottom one was a temperature sensor, its not needed

Clean the idle control valve, my car used to nearly cut out when stopping at lights, now its perfext

Only things i can think of, if its not a leak, is that the actuator was messed with when changing the Mani etc, or the actuator is a bit worn

Ok cool, well you can either reprogram its settings, or adjust the actuator arm. Good idea to check for boost leak first though

do you have another other form of boost control? electronic or manual? if not you need to make the actuator arm shorter, do it half a turn at a time till you get the desired boost

well if hes got the JAM already, and hes got standard injectors to go on, then i dont see why not a standalone might cost the same, but then he would need to get it mapped and a piggyback system is still pretty crude, regardless if its emb/emu or safc/itc IMO lol

did you touch the actuator when you swapped the new mani and de-cat on?

for the inline filter would you just cut the pipes off the old filter, and stick the new one in between the two cut ends?

With standard injectors it should be at 2.4bar

the jam ecu will be mapped for standard injectors 295cc, so you will run rich with the larger injectors

if you stay at stock boost id say about 30bhp

So ive got a couple of fans set up on my intercooler, because racecar. I want to use the Hi/Lo boost button to switch them on, Can anyone tell me how i would go about it, ive got the fans straight to the batterys positive, so i need the switch to earth it. Cheers

Is it just that there is so much money to be made in after market ECU's and Piggybacks, that no ones really tried to do it? I know a few cars that have always been considered to have unmappable ecus, then when someone actually really looked into it, it was possible. MK5/6 RS2000 for example.

id love the 98 JDM but its way out of my price range unfortunately, I quite like the UKDM, its growing on. Got a few folk from back home interested in the Glanza, but im still going to put it up on here and PH.
