Do you reckon a td05 will have a similar spool time on a 5e, as a td04 would on a 4e?

hmm, i heard that the vf24 doesnt like anything over 1.2bar but the td04/5's are bulletproof even at 1.6bar

Hi, i was only running 0.6bar, it made this at around 3200rpm i never had it on a dyno but id assume that would be around 160-180bhp but dont quote me on that

i did but aparently they cant run very high boost reliably

Oh rite, well from what I've seen on graphs the gt looks so laggy compared to the TD series.

Gt28 seems waaay too laggy, I'm building an A road warrior haha. Looks like ill go forged 5e td05 if the spool is similar to a 4e td04 it will be perfect

So, before i spend a lot of money i need some advice, please bare with me. Imagine identical supporting mods intake, exhaust, injectors etc etc And running on eManage Ultimate. 4e TD04 - 1bar 5e TD05 - 1bar What i want to know is how these would compare in terms of spool and power Then Forged 4e TD04 - 1.6bar Forged 5e TD05 - 1.6bar Again, same question about spool and power. I know theres the leaderboard but id like peoples opinions/experience Thanks

IMO the best FCD is the Turbo Smart one It works like the Jam, by clamping the voltage, but it also has a release so if you overboost it will fuel cut and save your engine. Whereas the JAM will allow you to boost to infinity, and so will Emanage for that matter. The HKS still retains fuel cut but it affects your timing and fueling throughout the rev/boost range. If i go the Emanage route i will be using a Turbosmart to clamp the voltage, rather than the inbuilt clamp.
