Polishing looks good mate, who did you get to do that? If you don't mind me asking. -
That's alright, I couldn't find anything manual wise on the web either.
-
Best I can do is this pic, pc's up the shoot
-
I'll have a read and see if I can find any difference, type 1 had more features to type 0 I think they were some thing to do with hks's 35th anniversary, there was about £50 price difference at the time but you can get them on eBay for about £30 now lol
-
Type 1 then, it should be able to read mph, revs and voltage to. I've got a manual for type 0 but not type 1.
-
If it the red illumination it's the type 0 if it's blue it's the type 1

Looks nice, another black on black look ;) think it needs a smaller front plate tho. -
Any one got a flare bracket on the go? I've got a flare but just discoverd the brackets broken.
-
Ah right seems like a lot of aggro, I'll find a different route then. Cheers for that.
-
Are they all the same and is it just a case of getting a harness? I've found one cheap enough but he had it on his evo and I wasn't sure if it'll fit the v.
-
Had a phone call from the machinest today, the head and block pressure tested fine. All the work I need doing to it tho is going to cost around £350, rebore, crank polish, block skimmed and head skimmed. I didn't think that price was to bad, any thoughts??

Looking good, wasn't to sure on the pink at first but not it's on it does look good. Does that hose kit include the 2 at the back of the engine coming off the water pump housing? -
Little update, started to mirror polish a few bits off the engine still a few to do tho. Got a cooling panel off redz11 to which I repolished but unfortunately had to remove the Id-workz sticker, hopefully idrees can sort me out another, looks the dogs dangleys with the black tegiwa washers. Just the oil filter housing, water pump housing and thermostat housing left to polish. Got the block and head to the machinest also, should find out by Tuesday if there any good, just a little worried about the crank.
-
Don't want to hijack the thread but how much would a centre arm rest be worth? I'm going to take it out tomorrow as its doing my head in.
-
Is that including the ones I'm after? Prices would be handy to
-
Ah right I'll pm him and see what he says on the matter. Cheers for that.
-
Cheers for that, just had a quick look and they might be included in this kit: http://roosemotorsport.co.uk/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=1_4&products_id=228 might have to double check tho.
-
Does any one know where I can get some nice water hoses? Not the rad ones but the ones that come off the water pump housing down the back. I know you can't see them but I'd like to know their there, and it's the little touches that count. Any help is much appreciated Lewis
-
Yeah she's pretty fooked lol, it's slow progress but it will get there in the end
-
Yeah it's always handy to do it that way, cheers. I got it off PhilGT93. He did say the rings had gone and the money that I paid for it I can't complain. Least I know it will all be fresh once it's done.

Little update on the engine front, a bit of bad news really. But they'll be changed any way, how ever the crank might not be useable all the bearings are well to put it simply, fucked and I'd say it's been run dry at some point. Not all bad news tho the block and head look good so I'll get a second opinion on the crank and go from there
