Just been out in the shed for a bit sorting through parts and discoverd that a washer has fallen out of the cylinder head. It's the one that sits right at the bottom by the seal. Now are these included in a full engine gasket set? As I am getting one or do I have to source these separately? If so where can I get a set? Cheers Lewis

I'm planning on going forged but need to get my gearbox, clutch and turbo set up sorted first. I wanted to be a little different in the turbo area so I'm planning on a k24 or k26. It's shit, proper fucked me up to, specially as its my boys first Xmas and his first bday on the 28th lol, skint ain't the word. The clutch has been slipping and juddering all week, think the selector fork and synchro's have gone to I can sit there with the engine running and shift through all the gears clutch down or not and nothing happens. Gives me an excuse to strip it down and get it all done tho.

So yesterday the clutch and gearbox decided to go bang on me on the motorway, luckily I wasn't to far from home and got my cousin to come get me with his trailor. This does mean the engines on hold tho until I get the box refurbed and a decent clutch. Hoping to take it off the road for a good 6 months and get it completely finished, just means I have to drive the rover 25 about tho

Seeing as my gear box and clutch have just failed me on the motor way I am now taking it off the road for a few months to get it all sorted. Lack of garage or big enough shed means it'll be on the drive in the elements so I'm after a decent fitted cover, does any one know where to get one?

I only worked out what it was when the temp gauge started going mad at me, put some in and it cured everything so I guessed it was that.

Mine did it last week, I put some anti freeze in problem cured

I'll have a read and see if I can find any difference, type 1 had more features to type 0 I think they were some thing to do with hks's 35th anniversary, there was about £50 price difference at the time but you can get them on eBay for about £30 now lol
