love the mk2s ,gorjus quad headlights

yea it sounds like a mounts failed and the metal outer ring that the rubber would sit in is hitting straight to the metal of the bolt its mounted through/on or you have polybushed engine mounts,my car vibrates like mad at certain revs and i love it !! lol

ok i will do this next for sure,will put the standard fuel regulator ba on.im sure the fueling wasnt right with this either thing is though i turned the new sard down from 48 psi to 34 psi and the a/f ratio stayed the same. surely the engines ecu should be regulating and controlling the a/f wether the fuelings at 48 or 34 psi ? i have also undone the plus terminal on battery and left it for an hour.

update,brand new lambda sensor fitted up. cold air fuel still low 10s warm idle 11.5 and 11.6 i am at the stage now were i am out of ideas.i know these cars well and yet i dont understand whats wrong with my fueling i dont use the car at all atm as i dont wana cause any damage.somebody please help me try and work this out the only fault code i have atm is knock sensor......

Go up from underneath is by far easyier than anything.i have got removing the plug of the knock sensor down to a minute .lol.as for undoing it i havent done but wud guess underneath also.

Thanks jamie,think i am gonna order new 1 from torque developments £89.99 This is about my only option .need it sorting really.

Does the knock code mean that the knock sensors faulty or wiring Or Does it mean engines experiencing knock ?

the 4efte ep91 goes straight into the uk spec ep91 n/a with no issues. did notice the uk had a transponder and immobiliser this all came out and didnt pose a problem when i replaced interior and engine loom the plugs on ignition are the same
