    Get the whole front of car up on axle stands or similar. Makesure out of gear and rotate the wheels each way in a quick fashion.this will show any play or knocking of the shafts

    SORTED !!!!!!!!!!!!!! I HAVE BOUGHT A MT ECU FROM JAYC GLANZA AND FITTED IT UP AND ALL MY PROBLEMS HAVE DISSAPEARED INCLUDING THE KNOCK SENSOR !!!!! SO HAPPY AND SO GRATEFULL FOR JAYC FOR HELPING AND TAKING TIME TO SORT THIS WITH ME

    What do u mean by revs bouncing,trying to understand so i fan try and help Its goin up and down of its own accord between what revs and when,at idle or driving along.?

    Ok,fitted new ecu temp sensor and nothing changed. Had a chat with a mate and he suggests map sensor. I have done a wanted post and hope somebody can help Is there anyway to test map sensor at all ??

    Ideally need somebody in essex/southend area that wouldnt mind helping me out by just letting me try there map sensor as i desperatley need to see if thats my issue with my car.exhausted all other routes really and im out of ideas. Any help would really be appreciated.

    i had a new one in there but thats a fair comment ,will put the new one back in. the new one i put in recently was removed for a mate to test and i havent put it back in. will put it back in tonight.thanks will keep updated.....

    easyiest way ,simply strap the hose just out the way slighty,just enough to clear it by a cm just to be on safe side. cable tie it lighty out the way hoses fit one way really,maybe get some pics up of ures

    yea its either valve stem seals or turbo seals. probably turbo seals. how many miles car done ?
