I use fully synthetic 5-30 mobil 1. It costs me around 45 with a £3 oil filter every 4thou miles. I would never use a anything cheap or lesser as I care for my car to the best I can.
Is the smoke white at idle or boost ? >>>> = turbo seals Or is it on engine braking ?>>>> = valve stem seals also do a compression check also and as above , I would do the rope trick on valves for sure
Exactly as above.u really dont need more than 210 bhp in a starlet.getting handling and breaking as good as possible far out weighs having 250 bhp. I have changed to ct9 as I was fed up with td04 lag. Hybrids so much better and wouldnt want a td04 again.
I have a speed vison hybrid ct9 atm.still in the process of setting up fully in conjunction with a external wastegate etc etc. I would expect they would make around 230 at 1.2 bar on a good day.
U cant do it anything other than dead centre as the valve remains In its body. U never ever lapp a valve in by rotating it one way.it goes both ways one after the other.i think you need to watch a video on youtube on how to lapp a valve in. thats goin to help you not ruin yours.
I dont have any pics but the Internal valve is essentially the same as an engine valve and it has a seat that has to be air tight. the valve seat in my wastegate is removable/repalceable. Was really easy to lapp it in and cost me £7 for paste. well worth the 30 mins it takes to ensure that them gases aint escaping and losing you boost
Just gone hybrid ct9 and external wastegate. Decided to lap/seat my wastegate valve In as its just gotta help and I know for a fact on my "cheap" wastegate the valve and seat wont be MATCHED. has helped alot and I would highly advise doing it.made a big difference
Get an old blitz one.they dont come with a diaphragm for that reason.they literally last indefinatley. paid 30 quid for mine and it doesnt leak whatsoever.
