Its the usability of a daily that makes it special. nice early spool around 3000 rpm.say no more
-
I use fully synthetic 5-30 mobil 1. It costs me around 45 with a £3 oil filter every 4thou miles. I would never use a anything cheap or lesser as I care for my car to the best I can.
-
As above dude.i wrote the synopsis of smoking above
-
200 bhp is more than enough. stock ct9 @ bar or even as big as a hybrid @ bar.plenty
-
Is the smoke white at idle or boost ? >>>> = turbo seals Or is it on engine braking ?>>>> = valve stem seals also do a compression check also and as above , I would do the rope trick on valves for sure
-
Exactly as above.u really dont need more than 210 bhp in a starlet.getting handling and breaking as good as possible far out weighs having 250 bhp. I have changed to ct9 as I was fed up with td04 lag. Hybrids so much better and wouldnt want a td04 again.

Thanks patman.it basic stuff and keeping people in the know is important. theres wayyy to much of this naughty trading going on.spoils it for others. -
I would go oem for sure.nothing but goodness from them
-
Yeah I aint gonna run more than 1.1 bar. worried bout heat ect tbh aslong as its like a td04 at 0.8 bar then I am happy
-
I have a speed vison hybrid ct9 atm.still in the process of setting up fully in conjunction with a external wastegate etc etc. I would expect they would make around 230 at 1.2 bar on a good day.
-
Ahh okies.
-
How much are shells for a 4e-fte ?
-
Pmsl I have just noticed what has been screwed up on fittig that external, thats a ewg relocation kit !!!!!
-
They stay open with no bolts in at all, and yes running without them is the norm tbh. will be fine
-
Should be absolutely air tight.no leaks at all.
-
Yeah just look at the 200 bhp guide.been covered so many times
-
I dont have any pics but the Internal valve is essentially the same as an engine valve and it has a seat that has to be air tight. the valve seat in my wastegate is removable/repalceable. Was really easy to lapp it in and cost me £7 for paste. well worth the 30 mins it takes to ensure that them gases aint escaping and losing you boost
-
And as above has ure penny been welded. what wastegate spring you got in there ?
-
Funnily enough I have just gone over to ct9 hybrid with external wastegate dude. I get boost start at 2,500 and full boost of 17psi @ around 3,500
-
Jeez those welds. Wow. Not what u would expect with That price tag. no cool

Get an old blitz one.they dont come with a diaphragm for that reason.they literally last indefinatley. paid 30 quid for mine and it doesnt leak whatsoever.
