    From my experiences I would say it is the alternator. The battery is only used for engine cranking and ign1 acc while engines not running.

    There's a few in the Yate/chipping sodbury area about 10 miles away 43 N Walk, Yate, Bristol, South Gloucestershire BS37 4AP There's a petrol Station there with a car wash and a pressure washer thing you can use yourself mate. I know as it's my area lol

    Shorty has a diff but can't get to you till tonight I'm about 15mins from castle Combe so if you managed to limp it to JF you could bring it down to mine (chipping sodbury) and strip the diff etc but I do not have a welder :/

    It's easier to split the cups on the gearbox side remove the retaining ring of the inner boots pull boot back off the cup and then the shaft will make some lovely squelchy noises and slide right out. It's the method I always use

    i do like a dc2 and a ek9 but I don't think I can love without boost tbh and any preference on what you would get GT or glanza?

    yh not bad bent a rod on my GT Christmas so been sorting out a zisco built forged motor and I take it the boosted dc2 didn't go to plan. But there's been a few proper tidy GTs and glanzas sold in your absence! but you will find a tidy 1 mate

    Gunna pop my coilies off soon and refurb them with new adjuster rings etc so was gunna get these as temp suspension so I can do it after JF
