When he rolls up in an Advance and trys to buy a machine gun haha
Ha aye my brother owned that advance a few years after it was in the show
-
Really that's no so good lol
I bought a set of brakes off him recently, can take a bit of time to get a response but always gets back to me
-
Adams just pissed he spent a fortune and never actually drove his car

I reckon everyone has considered throwing in the towel with modifying these cars at some point. What you expect to spend on certain mods always seems ends up almost double.
I've sunk well over £10k on mine and its still no where near where I want to be and its not even forged.
If you get the skyline and you want to mod that then expect the exact same situation. If keeping it stock it might be worth going the skyline route

That's made me want to buy a dash cam!
I worked in a Citreon garage for my work experience many years ago and i remember a celica came in for a service or something and they took it up the motorway to see "how fast it goes" then did burnouts and handbrake turns around the nearby car park. Totally out of order, and always the nicer cars that get that kinda treatment.
Not all the guys who worked there did shit like that but there's probably gonna be at least one arsehole per garage.

Awesome build man. Love the purple bay, will be awesome to see when you've got it on the road!

nah just an uprated fuel pump, was expecting it be lean myself. Ollie had a similar result

Glanza or gt? I ran 0.8 td04 on standard eu standard fpr fuelled fine if not slightly rich
Yeah I've been running a TD04 at 0.8Bar of boost, standard ecu, standard injectors, standard fpr.
It runs a bit rich at the top of the rev range ( 10.8 ) which hopefully is alright. I'm no expert by any means.

Pretty expensive don't you think? Pretty sure you can get non genuine filters for under £10 all day long
-
How do they look with the lights on?

Getting a decat shouldnt really effect your fuel economy as most decats should have a place for the lambda sensor. The other sensor at the bottom is a cat temp sensor (i think, not 100%)
Chances are if you decat the car your hi-lo button will become useless and your probably going to be getting high boost regardless because of the lack of restriction. Happened to me when i had filter and exhaust. Might even end up hitting fuel cut, assuming your still on a ct9? Do you have boost gauge?

What happens to uploaded photos if you don't renew your paid membership?

Nice gearbox mount, madness. Its as if these cunts dont realise cutting corners like that can end up killing someone. No morals
This motor had a shit load of work done at down at T.D did it not?
It did yea, was a bare shell when i got it so very unlikely any of the bad stuff had anything to do with them

I made a wee article ages ago about how to wire gauges for power

Figure it would be good to have a page to showcase some shoddy mechanical work!
I'll start us off... Got a shell off another member from this site (who will remain unnamed) but they "fitted" my new ball joints for me.
Must have used an angle grinder or something. Morons!

Yeah linux for servers but nothing wrong with windows for development. Everyone in my company is using windows without an issue so no need to change if you dont want to

Fuck, really? I did a bit of freelance web design when I was 20 or so and I thought Dreamweaver was archaic back then, let alone now. I always did it the proper way, notepad++, Photoshop for assets and writing stylesheets by hand. Related side question, how's HTML5 to work with? Been thinking of doing it on the side when I start uni in September but haven't done anything related in about 5-6 years.
Aye dreamweaver is hopeless, dont know anyone that uses it professionally, sublime text is a really good alternative to notpad++. HTML5 is great, you should check out codeacademy. Its free online tutorials, really good for getting a refresher

On contrary mate, there are not enough DECENT developers. Most just use Dreamwaever and the like.
This, plenty of jobs in the web development world if you work hard. I got 4 interviews in 1 week when I was looking for my first job, lots of people always looking to take on juniors

I'd always worked in retail, pubs and call centres so 2 years ago decided i'd become a web developer. Mate of mine builds websites for hilton and it seemed pretty interesting, easy enough to pick up.
I never did any computing at school but I went back to uni for 1 year to do a postgrad in IT, the course was really easy and now im just finishing my first year on a 20k starting salary.
Web development's pretty easy, theres a lot to learn but no one knows everything and you can basically google how to do most times and someone will tell you, to be honest you could learn how to build websites in your spare time pretty quickly using websites like teamtreehouse.com. Get a portfolio together building websites for friends and start applying for jobs.
Bogging down at Low revs when driving

I had the same issue a while ago. It could be your lambda sensor/wiring, mine was gubbed and was giving off a solid 0v instead of moving about from 0.1-0.9v so the car didn't fuel properly. When I unplugged the lamba sensor the car drove fine so I knew that was the problem.
Unplug the lambda sensor and see how it drives, when no lambda sensor is plugged in it over fuels slightly so wont be very good for economy but will let you know if that's where your issue lies.
