Been out in the car again and it does seem to run a bit better at lower revs and idle. It's a Jam ECU, would that be the same deal?
-
Yea got there eventually haha
-
Shit yeah sorry mate I thought I'd messaged you! Been singing your praises left right and centre but forgot to thank you!

Notice lots of very tidy, very minimal engine bays around, I know in many pictures that's due to builds being half complete but was just wondering exactly what people are removing, relocating etc other than the obvious battery, abs, fuse box Some peoples firewalls almost seem clear of stuff but mines really cluttered? Any tips would be great

So just to wrap this up. The single manky white wire was indeed the O2 sensor wire, hard wired into it and I now have a functioning lambda sensor!
-
Got mine fitted today, seems to drive exactly the same possibly idles a bit better but I'm pretty sure that could be my imagination. Time will tell with fuel consumption!
-
Nice one cheers
-
That's gonna remove the shit poking through the firewall?
-
Pm'd you. Any tips on getting the clips off without fucking them?
-
Anyone up for writing a tutorial ;) looks ugly as sin sat at the back of the engine bay!

I ran for months on a cracked eBay manifold without losing too much boost, just ticked it's tits off on idle
-
Hopefully cracked it then mate, cheers for your input

Wonder if that's why mine idles like shit (4efte) when I swapped turbo kits we noticed mine wasn't connected. Car smells rich but I've wouldn't say it runs badly? Have been told running it without could cause it to run shitty and may lead to bore wash? Hopefully getting it sorted with a new O2 sensor tomorrow.

Aha! You do have it? Toby couldn't remember who did lol

Traced the red wire back to find another connector. And behind that.........maybe this was once white? A mate who's on the tools at Toyota is gonna have a look tomorrow so hopefully we can just hard wire into here.
-
If anything I'd say that the red one joins to a chunkier red one but I'll have a go at tracing it back in the morning.

This an Irish site?

Ok so turns out the plugs not there lol a previous bodge job has left that weird connector on the red wire. Assuming the yellow wire is for oil pressure and the 2 pin (brown/cream wire) plug is for the cat temp........that red one should be for the lambda?
