  1. Was a long shot.......cheers for the reply mate!
  2. As above, fitting a glanza rear beam to my SR but it needs calipers etc.....have a second set of front calipers I changed when I uprated and want to know if I can use them for the rears? Cheers
  3. Another 4age starlet...... ;)
  4. ^^its all good mate, I've got one sat up too....gives you more of a chance to work on it! And will be all the sweeter when you do get it on the rd ^^
  5. That's mint!
  6. Coming on well man!
  7. Fuck that's cheap........someone please buy this before I own 3 black SR's!! GLWS
  8. If it won't (surly it'll go in the boot?) just take one of your doors off, bolt on the one to deliver....whip it off at the drop off point and then just drive back bogan style (doorless)?
  9. Welcome to the black SR fold mate
  10. I like them!
  11. Cheers Josh mate.....yea the wings are on the to do list but meantime theres another wing that needs some effort and money thrown at it! Talked to my "inside man" lol at Toyota,T-dog and he's got me a complete box fresh oem rear wing on its way (2 weeks) and i've started stripping the rear on that side! Also got the 98 specs fitted but photobuckets being a cu*t so i'll have some pics with the next post!
  12. I've got a brand new one sat here surplus to requirements as I've now got an original...trouble is I payed over the odds to get it delivered (isle of wight) and it would cost again to ship the bastard off! Plus I'd be looking for near what I payed from IDWorkz.....so all in your best off going straight to Iddy? Do look brilliant fitted though
  13. These are the wings i've got in mind...... Not 100% on them and i think i'll mod them a touch before paint!
  14. Nothing to report just a few photos of the ST185 single pot brakes that i'll soon be swapping over fom "car one" and replacing them with the Glanza drilled and grooved ones.....love how meaty they look against the Speedlines Factory fresh Speedline alloy..... And finally a cheeky rear shot showing the new spaced out stance up back.... just the rear wiper to remove and the arse ends there (saying that the lights still need changing)
  15. ^second to last one ^
  16. Love the moody sky in the last one
  17. I've recently bought an SR sitting on a set of D2 coilovers, they work fine and seem to be in very good condition (apart from the springs but im guessing a bit of rust is to be expected) anyway I've also got a set of brand new in the box DGR coilovers I got for another project....can't keep both sets so what do I do? If it ain't broke don't fix it.....or slap a brand new set on, that seem a similar build quality and weigh slightly less? Any opinions?
  18. I'm guessing that price reflects its rareness?
  19. Welcome mate! A child seat will fit ;)
  20. I used a roll of numberplate tape from halfords and they've been fine ever since Japfest 1! Because the tape is spongy it allows them to flex against the car body I guess so no issues with them coming loose, had my reservations but I'm well impressed with the results.....plus it's gonna make removing them a doddle! Mine are on an SR though so any speeds upwards of about 90 are untested lol
  21. She is mate.....don't worry I told her, but ill pass on the praise from urself too!
  22. Haha I know!
  23. ooooooooooh!
  24. Yes mate i'm on the Island pretty sure i've met most of the webbed toe clan! Was talk about everyone meeting up at some point.....i'll still be in the 4efe SR though...boooooooooo! Think i spoke to you a way back on here (my user name used to be SR Rat)
  25. Thanks mate the original plan was to take all the covers off and then use the material as templates but in the end just covered the existing seats as it was a slightly easier option! I'd like to get the sides covered too in a dark gray but getting the covers back on was so hard......i never want to do it again lol. Thought abought dying the fabric but where its so synthetic i dont think it would hold colour.......will try and get the bench finished and fitted and then see if i can live with the colour be interested to see what other people have done with theirs, the only other idea i had in mind was the recaro optional bench as that would have worked well colourwise but my pockets aint that deep (one day) Yea fly wheel was a steal at £63 posted
