MR-2
You are sleeping better when You know those are powercoated, have to do same for my P7. Once looked Toyota price for those mounts and they were very cheap, but I guess nor available anymore. More pictures about intercooler? You should paint it black with heatpaint, more sleeper look... PvflindtDK
No, you can't buy them anymore, and the left one in the front has a habit of rusting pretty much. But now they should last very long 😊I got some on my computer, can upload later. I have thought about painting it matt black, because it' also more efficient when it's black. And it's more hidden, the danish police doesn't like modified cars that much 😉
PvflindtDK
Some pics of underneath. It's more or less finished, some few bits and pieces are missing. There's also a view on my bc racing coilovers, really nice equipmemt 😉
MR-2
Wow, nice view, only for tarmac That rear axle is very good place to put pervert stickers
PvflindtDK
#TBT !On request, I'm uploading a bunch of pics from the build today. They are from when I bought the car till today.I've used approx. 250 hours on the bottom, and the result speaks for itself. I build my own carbon ramair headlight to use when racing.A good friend of mine used a whole day on the wings and fenders, knocked them out with a hammer, and the car is now 15 mm wider on each side in the rear and 10 mm on each side in the front. It's been made so it still fits the car and looks original which is the plan. That's why I call the project a resto mod.Removing this original body sealer is a piece of sh*t. In total it weights 18 kg.Project clean enginebay started like this. Cleaned the bay so all holes were visible, and afterwards closed all holes that wasn't gonna be used. It's done right with a welder and tinned afterwards. All corners on the bottom are sealed after the first layer of paint. It's becase the paint is thinner than sealer, so it goes deeper and protects. Here the fenders are widened. Looks really awesome on the little boxyFreshly powdercoated parts ready to be fitted. All bishings are replaced with powerflex purple line. Front wishbones are new.Special mounts for radiator, oil cooler and intercooler has been made, so it fits the way I want it.My homemade ramair headlight.Homemade mount for walbro 255 fuelpump. It's made so the pump sits on the bottom of the tank, and with AN fittings.Had a small photoshoot of how far I am with the ride for now. A lot has been made since, but a couple of nice pics came out of it.

funny onion
looks so awesome dude! bet you're well happy with it! what intercooler core is that?
PvflindtDK
Yeah a couple of hours has been used already. The engine will get even more attention to get a look that's not seen every day.Actually don't know much about the interccoler, bought it of a friend who bought it from poland, a size too small for his starlet, but it's capable of flowing about 450 hp. I don't even have the dimensions on it.
MustakimQZ
That's some piece of work. Awesome
MR-2
Nice size cooler, don't have to cut front too much I like those old vs new pictures, so big job to get it that point. What kind of wheel combo are You planning, maybe 9+10" as in swedish P7 And rear axle bushing from where, I haven't seen Powerflex for P7, custom made?
PvflindtDK
Yea I just cut a small piece of each side, so the intercooler fits perfectly, radiator is mounted so there is space for 2,5" pipes.Right now the wheels are gonna be 8x15" et10, but I'm looking for 8,5's and see if there's something i like. The bushings are from an ep91, actually all bushings are, but for the rear axle I had to modify them a bit, so they fit well. Bought in UK.
funny onion
I tired 8x15 et 10 on my P7 and they stuck out miles on the front! were ok on the rear though
MR-2
I tired 8x15 et 10 on my P7 and they stuck out miles on the front! were ok on the rear thoughI tested et35 8" front, those came out and no chance to turn wheels, rubbed everywhere Rear was ok with those, few mm cap inside Okay, EP91 48,5mm rear bushing can fit to P7 axle, just ordered rear set last week, so front will fit also, thanks for info anyway. PvflindtDK
I tired 8x15 et 10 on my P7 and they stuck out miles on the front! were ok on the rear thoughIt's also the front i'm a bit worried for, but it's 10 mm wider on each side, that's actually a lot when wheels need to be fitted. Think the rear needs spacers, so it looks the same front and rear. Or I could try et0 😄

But everything else fits like a glove, if you got a hydraulic press you get the best result.
PvflindtDK
I finally got a little longer with my engine. I made a bunch of other stuff which isn't visible, like loom for gauges and power control. I also got the interior mounted, only missing a few bits and a speedo with rpm.Intake is cleaned with a steel brush and then painted skyline sparkling silver as the rest of the engine bay. Trying to keep it simple and clean. All bolts and nuts are also cleaned before mounted.Just a pic of the interior. It's only the front seats that is gonna be mounted. I just need a strut in the rear and front. An aeromotive FPR is gonna keep the fuel pressure stable
PvflindtDK
Finally found the manifold i'm gonna use. I chose the Wepr GTFS td04 mildsteel manifold with wastegate exit, screamer pipe and stainless downpipe. It will suit my engine very good.
N F X
nice work being done on this beauty!cant wait to see the end results
PvflindtDK
A bit more happened today. Got some more stuff cleaned, painted and mounted on the engine, it's slowly getting there.Matchporting of the intake manifold to fit the head perfectly and for optimal flow.Clean and as new. It's a huge job to clean and paint every single bit of the engine, but it looks nice when it's mountedFuelrail mounted with 560cc injectors, and ready for an6 adapter in the end, so it can be connected to my aeromotive fprIntercooler painted black for a stealth look, I don't like attention, so no shiny stuff Edited October 1, 2016 by PvflindtDK
mccartney11
What way did you mount the intercooler? Have the same one for my own ep70
morgey
Stunning attention to detail on this build, fair play will be a stunner when all together and finished 👍
PvflindtDK
What way did you mount the intercooler? Have the same one for my own ep70 Drilled two holes in the front bottom beam and had a friend to make two bushing to fit in the holes. So it's a custom solution, can take a pic of it next time i work on the car.
PvflindtDK
The engine starts to look lile something again.I like my brand new WEPR td04 manifold. Gonne be mounted with my td05 turbo and an TiAL mv-s38 external wastegateGearbox is refurbished, although this isn't the box i'm gonna use for ever, I just gave it a quick clean and paint so it looks nice like the rest of the engine. And a wash of the car, in about 14 days the engine's getting in, new rims and upgraded brakes being mounted, can't wait!
