Home use welder for car repairs

I know theres a few people on here that do their own body repairs so asking for advise on either a good second hand welder to look out for or a decent new starter welder. Brands or info on what to look for when buying.

Baring in mine Its for my brothers EF civic so proper tinfoil steel lol

Keep an eye on duty cycle to don't want a a welder that will heat up quickly and have to cool down 🙄

I find clarkes welders very good.

The non-gas ones not so much but the bigger gas ones are nice and easy to set up and get a quality weld.

Not suited to everyone but r tech offer fiance aswell so can get a more expensive one and split the costs over a year or so

yup gasless welders are a complete waste of time you've no control over them at all just jump fart and spit around like nothing lol
