N/A power options

Hi all,

Before I go down the turbo route I want to have some N/A fun, I want to do a corolla intake manifold, larger injectors, extractors and exhaust.

Does anyone have a corolla mani laying around, yeah I know a big ask, and as far as larger injectors go can someone paste a link of a set not huge but slightly larger than stock.

Glanza injectors should do the job with the Corolla mani. Don't want to go too big of an injector or it will run rich

If it were me id just get an emanage blue or det 3 and have a play about mapping it myself you can take that across to a glanza that way. Plus Whats a 4efe these days £50?

As for mods

Fte or corolla inlet

2" exhaust

4-2-1 mani if you can find one.

Map it.

Also a Good service and renew any old ignition parts. Leads, dizzy blah blah

Thinking about it now id imagine it's because a corolla manifold won't be letting in the same amount of air as a ct9 at standard boost

I have the Rolla intake and Rolla throttle body on mine, you fell the extra pull from 3500rpm up

Also running a 2" straight through exhaust and scorpion back box

Turbo's are over-rated

What I have readed, Corolla intake mani gives only mid torque, but less power. I try first normal n/a mani with turbo tb, then maybe Corolla intake modded to turbo tb. And then 5E and turbo, never ending story :/

Rolla mani

Itbs

100bhp engine

All with custom 4 branch mani and straight through 2" exhaust.

Then I went 4efe turbo. Threw it together for about 200 quid, modified my exhaust to bolt to decat.

Wont ever bother with na 4e again.
