Wondering if it will be okay to use the stock tmic at 1 bar on a ct9? Or would it be safer too run it at 0.8 bar? Will be used for the odd track day ect just cant afford an fmic as well as a map and exhaust manifold. Cheers

Hang out for a fmic imo. They can handle 1 bar just track days...heat... it's rolling the dice. The cooler the engine the better obviously.

Yeah thats true, might just have to skint myself out for a month lol better safe than sorry.

I ran 1 bar on an ARC top mount for 2 years. was absolutely fine.

Only problem is i cant find an arc tmic anywhere lol. Cheers

If you can't find an arc tmic then get an rx7 one! I ran a bar through an rx7 tmic for ages no problem!

I now run an arc tmic :)

Is the only mod for these are a 90 degree pipe? Cheers

just a little side note...when you get the intercooler kit,,,i'd suggest you run some water through it first to see if its all clean (no bits of metal, etc) before you install it

Just to let you know that is identical to the kit I bought and I can't fault it to be fair for the money. Easy to install if you know one end of a spanner from another, and a pretty good fit with just a bit of modifying to the brackets. Only running 0.8 bar through it at the moment though so can't comment on how well it will be at 1 bar.
