StarletRick Posted July 4, 2008 Posted July 4, 2008 HOW FUCKING MUCH FOR BELLSill buy some willwood ones, gots to be cheaper than that shit. Quote
59bhp Posted July 4, 2008 Posted July 4, 2008 hmm id have to measure what to offset the brakes by as ive got the single pot celica calipers,Did you have to get custom caliper brackets made up for the outlaw calipers? Quote
StarletRick Posted July 4, 2008 Posted July 4, 2008 outlaws come in most oem sizes. so i doubt it mate.Si, we'll have to go up there when get back from yee-haw, have a measure up of what we need. Quote
SiCaln Posted July 4, 2008 Posted July 4, 2008 think the Outlaw's came with bracketsyea Rick thats because they would be custom made for our specs as Mark said after that its 60 a disc Quote
StarletRick Posted July 4, 2008 Posted July 4, 2008 60 a disk, so 290 for a pair of bells? thats horrific. ill still go there though and barter like the cheap cunt that i am ^^ Quote
SiCaln Posted July 4, 2008 Posted July 4, 2008 yea u should ill go with u its 2mins from my house Quote
NightSpirit Posted July 4, 2008 Author Posted July 4, 2008 Fuckin hell...how many posts lolRight, the bells were 68 each..plus vat, the rotors are 60 odd each plus vat, plus shipping and all that. The Outlaws have brackets made up to space the caliper obviously to accomodate the larger disc, I used washers on the caliper to stop it fouling on the disc. To be honest, I'd trust their stuff over Wilwood etc, the guys been doing it a long time and knows his shit, hence me going there. I am having 26 mm rotors, the good thing is the disc face is thinner (0.1mm) so the vented area is larger, discipating more heat to keep the brakes cooler.59hp, I know the exact OEM disc you need to fit to the Celica setup mate..HiSpec sell them off the shelf. PM Mutha Ducka for info on the spacers needed as he has just fitted a celica ST185 single piston kit to his EP82. Quote
StarletRick Posted July 4, 2008 Posted July 4, 2008 ah right. ill shoot down there. the brakes are the one thing on the car that im not happy with at the mo. Si, when i return from my quest. we'll go. you can come along too mark, for hugs, obv. Quote

NightSpirit Posted July 6, 2008 Author Posted July 6, 2008 they're open saturday...10 till 2 that's when I went.Brakes are one of the most important things in my book..that and handling. I remember many years back when all I cared about was a gazillion horse power and twenty million torques. Quote
