Glad to see you have finally taken the plunge Nic.

Nice wee spec you have there too with some choice parts not usually seen much on N/As.

Red EPs are for winners by the way :p

How do you find the difference from the lightweight pulleys and have you come across any problems with them?

Will be good to see some pictures of them.

Also pm sent mate.

Talk soon

thanx mate

my goal is to make a serious starlet from the most unlikely model.... nuthing but the best for my motor.

for now she will remain a bit of a sleeper without 2much body work.

yeah the lightweight pulleys do make a difference it really does rev alot more freely with them and she pulls a tiny bit harder aswell id say,

there is no issues with the pulleys that i have fitted, but the water pump is the press fitted version on mine and i bought the bolt on one and alternater pulley are is a different shaft size on my own alternator

alrite guys

I fitted the TRD engine mounts yesterday..what a difference they've made.

there was some modifying needed to be done to make the rear lower mount work (exhaust mounting brackets)

but i will let the photos do the talking, so here there are.

Very nice motor mate like the seats are they in yet? ;)

thanx man.

they are a sweet shade of grey in person

no the seats arent in yet, ive owned them for a year almost now and they've been in and out, im having to do custom brackets for them as im not quiet happy with the height of them when theyre in( theyre a little too high),

also my girlfriend has problems fitting into them and im sick of her going on bout em so im not the fastest bout refiting them,

i kno thats a weak excuse but they'll be in the car eventually......

That looks fresh!

So nice n shiney

:)

Like the black toyota on there to looks gangsta matey :p

Thanx jag, its taken alot of polishing to get toyota's 3E5 red shiney, Im finding it easy to keep the shine nowadays though with the help of AutoGlym's Aqua Wax....tastey stuff.

I decided to do the toyota black in order to keep things different, the whole polished bare metal Toyota is too common for my liking, but I do think that it is still nice.

Well its been a while since I updated the tread, mainly due to the fact that I havnt done much to it lately.

Here's what I've;

Crystal headlights

I painted the backs of the lamps matt black to add a little more detail to them. it turned out sweet and I will post up pic's of it soon.

For now here's sum photos of the change over.

DSC00880.jpg

You can clearly see the difference in the old and crystall headlights now, Also the crystall headlights seem to make the HID's work better, as in that the light is now projected much more evenly.

DSC00875.jpg

One more for ya.

Soild Steel Shifter Bushings

Just made these out of some 16mm diameter x1mm thick steel tube.

DSC00892.jpg

DSC00897.jpg

Results...The gear change is more precise and feel abit sweeter,

so for 4.50 euro how far wrong can you go

Thats all for now

really love the clear headlights, wish they made em for the V like that

why did u mod that TRD mount was it to support exhuast?

Yeah Basically, I had to weld on the hangers for exhaust on to the lower engine because that is where the exhaust is supported on the N/A, After that its a straight run support wise to the backbox.

I guess that the turbo exhaust is supported in other locations.
