Galliano Posted September 11, 2008 Posted September 11, 2008 heres a little something, ive spent like 2 days searching for carbon effect, and sweet f.a. is found.so heres what ive come up with Quote
WallaceGlanza Posted September 11, 2008 Posted September 11, 2008 heres a little something, ive spent like 2 days searching for carbon effect, and sweet f.a. is found.so heres what ive come up with You should angle the "Sparky" writing the other way so it looks like its graffiti on the wall, would look cool that way. gaz Posted September 11, 2008 Posted September 11, 2008 Thats just a pattern fill or something with a shallow degree of density.Use a picture mate lol its the easiest way. Take my sig that i did for sparky - save it.Open it up use that text you have there and place the carbon fibre area above it and do this - (this is from memory i dont have Photoshop installed at the mo)Select the text layer and duplicate it, turn the oringinal one off. just incaseThen press ctrl and click that text layer. - This will have that antline thing around the text area.then go to 'select' and click inverse.and hit delete.A bit of dodgy tutorial but that should leave you twith the inside area as carbon fibre...and if you change the image size of my sig before hand you can adjust the density of the effect. Galliano Posted September 11, 2008 Posted September 11, 2008 heres another attemptor this, i hate the above design for carbon (although i used a real carbon photo to do it) Quote
Galliano Posted September 11, 2008 Posted September 11, 2008 another... and im changing this one too.. got a trick up my sleeve ok my plan didnt work, so i had a bit more of a play Quote
RobSR Posted September 11, 2008 Posted September 11, 2008 shouldnt it be moderating team...instead of moderation team...sounds a little dodge imo..and yes, make CF on ps, its pretty easy...:- http://www.digimods.co.uk/tutorials/tutorials.htmI also like slinn's effort...just the conversion between the pic, and the black area, looks a little off, as its blurred unevenly.
