Callan Posted January 7, 2009 Share Posted January 7, 2009 the car was local to me 2 years back, bought completely stock and built up, 260 odd bhp, previous owner spent alot of cash on it then melted it and td04'd another black jam kitted one... he removed the pas too which was strange and i think its a old wepr td04 kit, was forsale recently too was it not? and had 2 17s at the back and those wheels at the front?spec of what i knowtd04forged rods and pistonsemanage blue which is already mapped for 1.3 bar?coiloversand 2.5" turbo back exhaust which hasnt a catanyway... nice glenda anyhow hows the steering?heavy? garioch Posted July 25, 2009 Author Share Posted July 25, 2009 well, alot has happened since the last update.back in feburary it cut out on me as i was slowing down from a wee blast on the mway. and i couldnt get it started again, i took the plugs out to check them and this was what i was greeted with.so off with the head. which is when my day went from bad to worse.only one thing to do. start from scratch.got another bottom end from my mate, bought new rods and pistons, acl bearings, gt2871r, 1.2mm headgasket, 265deg billet cams, uprated valve springs.engine back in.evo 9 intercooler fitted.getting mapped.not bad eh 252atw 1.2baras it stands the now.that brings me back upto date. now that everythings sorted again i can focus back on the things i wanted to do from the start.to do:fit r888's on 15" slipstreamsfit wilwood front brake kitfit bc racing coiloversfit whiteline front and rear arb + antilift kitfit powerflex engine mounts and bottom arm bushesfit back brakesget a new exhaust - 3" downpipe and system with no boxes then its back to ava to get final tweaks and more boost.enjoy. bucketep91 Posted July 25, 2009 Share Posted July 25, 2009 ouch thats a sore 1! glad you got it sorted bud. thats an impressive figure too, bet it shifts. theres another 1 the same colour with almost the same reg N*** PUD my mate had it a few months back and sold it to a guy up your way. it had a hks fmic and ghaslty 17's on it and civic type R seats. you ever seen it?
