paulgtt
Done some modding to the Four over the past year so I thought it was about time for an update!!What it has now:Blitz Nur Spec S (soon to be changed to a blueflame full system with front pipe)Blitz Bov (Soon to be changed to a HKS)3" downpipe/decatStraight intake with Green cotton filterVarious bits of Samco hoseGAB 4 way adjustable shocks (Soon to have TRD top mounts) TRD 25mm lowering springs17" Rota Force alloysLate spec rear lightsWRC raiser blocksHKS boost gauge TRD gearknobMOMO steering wheelSo heres how she stands now:Will be looking at going for either a FMIC and Blitz ecu this year or going the whole hog with hybrid turbo, power fc, fmic, bigger injectors and pump. Haven't quite decided yet :harhar:
montanajr
Looking good mate! Get a cold air box, EBC and enjoy 1Bar! If going for a FMIC get an Evo core and a generic piping kit of eBay - works well if you can't be bothered to clock the turbo! Ours ended up looking like this:You can sell on the chargecooler setup to a MR2 owner and that'll pay for the FMIC easily! :harhar:
paulgtt
Was looking at the evo cores but definately will be clocking the turbo. Im not going to start on a cold airbox until Ive got the FMIC , knowing my luck il have to build another one if I make it before fitting the intercooler :harhar: Mine runs at 16psi with no boost controller so I already enjoy 1.1 bar or there just abouts
Toby@ToyTuning.com
Very clean really like it bud :harhar:

Cat back in so no boost creep worries either. My rear shock absorbers were absolutley shot so a brand new set of KYB excel G shockers have gone on all round. This arrived aswell :And some better pics that Ive dug out:The Golf/Jetta, whatever it was, got rinsed!! montanajr
Looking good ! What time did you run?
paulgtt
The best I managed was a 14.7 but Im still getting used to launching a 4wd car, too many revs and it just burns the clutch so I was letting it roll gently and then flooring it. Will have to get practicing!!
paulgtt
Bit of an update.Had to sell the Apexi power fc to fund replacement superstrut suspension arms, sodding expensive things they are!!!Anyway got some new wheels and a Trust intercooler with pipe work kit should be arriving this week.Just put the wheels on today, after having them balanced and the weights moving to allow some clearance for the calipers. Not the best of pics atm but gives an idea anyhow:Told you they were a tight fit!!!Wheels are Enkei racing RP01 with 225/50 16 Toyo Proxes T1R's
Curtis
the car looks lovely bud keep up the good work, the new wheels really suit it
Guest Enzo
those wheels are pretty shmick, must generate some amount of grip with that profile of tyres dude.looking good :surrender:
paulgtt
Not had chance to give any real boot since I put them on but hopefully all should be well, heard lots of good things about t1r's
Galliano
Ohh.. lovely, in need of a photo shoot, can't quite get the whole car into the pic on your driveway
paulgtt
Washed the car the other day so took some decent pics of the new wheelsJust noticed that my number plates on the pi$$!! Will get this sorted when the fmic goes on. AlsoThis was waiting for me when I got home, what could it be??After an age I got one of the boxes open...Trust intercooler core, bigger than I expected it to be!!Thickness of the coreAnd compared to an Evo 8 core!!Opened the other box and these were inside.Pipework will have to be modded to fit as Im clocking my turbo and going for a slightly different route off the throttle body. Seem to be short of hose joiners too but will probably replace all of them as they've seen better days.Place your bets on how long it will be before this is actually on the car
Nanglebadger
very nice dude!!wheels suit the car very well man! i love 5 spokes!!!great work man!Phil.
paulgtt
Decided against fitting the FMIC setup so sold it on! However Ive done some modding to fight against the dreaded heat soak.Air filter heat shield, needs a lid and a proper air feed.Lagged the chargecooler, makes a massive improvement, can actually touch it after a good drive and its still coldAlso fitted a Blitz Access ecu, relief valve and removed the TVSV (1st and 2nd gear boost restrictor) and Im liking 1.1 bar alot
ste91
Looks nice mate I think I liked it better on the white wheels though.Might want to have a look at http://www.tbdevelopments.com/ if you haven't already.
