scutch0
not a fan of the triumphs to be honest... the daytona's nice... im more of a kawasaki fan.not really a fan of twins either.. ducatis etc, they may look stunning, but they sound like a bag of poo. plus you cant beat the sound of high revving jap bikes!we have a long road across the back of our house and in the summer the local jap bike riders use it non stop, racing up and down it in the bounderies of 14,000rpm... gotta love it! lobotomy
Whats happening with bike tests these days? My mate passed his a couple months ago but was saying they're changing soon or something? more expensive, can't ride higher cc bikes till you do another extortionate test??? something like that.
gaz
i dont know shit about bikes and hate them.. but that looks cool. i like the second to last photo!!!
Nanglebadger
@Lobo, mate wot they're doin is pushin up the age of direct entry to 26, i.e. u have to be 26 to jump straight on to a big cc bike.Phil.
lobotomy
Ah right. It's something I've kinda wanted to do... but to be honest I'll prob be older than that before I get round to it anyways
scutch0
so basically your stuck on a restricted bhp bike till your 26.or are they actually doing it to engine size instead of bhp this time?
Nanglebadger
cc i believe.Phil.
Blue Icarian Wings
I think (at the mo) if you've passed your car test your allowed to ride a 125CC!
scutch0
you need a cbt for that, im sure??
lobotomy
I've just pulled out my drivers license. On the back it tells you what you can drive, and theres no bikes on the back of mine Yeah was sure you needed your CBT anyway. On a similar note though one of the older guys in our local showed me his drivers license, he used to be in the SBS (actually better than the SAS apparently) he's got loads of little pictures on the back of his, tanks and everything
