1998glanzav
I have been a member on here long enough so its about time I finally got round to setting up my members garage page. These are the pictures taken at the time when I purchased the car:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NdIxXJ7m2Go...h?v=NdIxXJ7m2GoThe car had came with CT9 Hybrid Turbo, Manifold, Decat, Blitz Nur Spec Exhaust, HKS SSQV , FMIC, JAM ECU, Apexi AVCR, Apexi SAFC NEO and Walbro Fuel pump so the car wasnt by any means slow My long term plan was always to forge the engine and get the most out of the 4EFTE, so I set about collecting the parts straight away. Here is some pictures of what I have got my hands on so far:I then decided that I was also going to need a few styling changes aswell. So I reached for my wallet again:With the new set up I was planning, handling was also going to be very important so I invested in the following:The car is curently parked up awaiting the final few pieces before the work is carried out on the forged rebuild. The full spec list and parts I have already purchased and are waiting to be fitted is as follows:ENGINE SPEC:Ross 74.5mm Forged Racing PistonsSCAT Forged Conrods With ARP BoltsUprated HeadgasketNew Toyota Oil PumpNew Toyota Water PumpNew Toyota Oil SealsNew Conrod bearings New Head BoltsNew Main bearings New Thrust washer New Complete Cambelt/Tensioner/Idler KitNew Alternator BeltNew Uprated ACL BearingsNew Fuel FilterNew Dizzy Cap and Rotar ArmTD04L TurboBraided Oil And water LinesWEPR ManifoldWEPR DownpipeTIAL 38mm external wastegateWEPR Screamer PipeWEPR FMICWEPR Custom Exhaust SystemSpeedvision Triple Core Racing RadiatorSPAL 10 " FanAir Con RemovedNGK Blue Ignition leadsNGK Idrium Spark Plugs (Heat Range HKS Fuel RailHKS Mushroom FilterTRD Oil CapGreddy Oil Cooler KitGreddy Oil Filter Relocation KitApexi Power FC and CommaderApexi AVCRApexi SAFC NEOGreddy Turbo Timer255LPH Walbro Fuel PumpTRD Engine MountsSard Fuel Pressure Regulator With GuageSard 550cc Injectors Blitz Boost GuageGreddy Type S Blow Off ValveCruise Valve SpringsUprated Cams (265 Degree Intake/Exhaust -8mm Intake/Exhaust)Greddy Oil Catch CanApexi 3 bar Map SensorTuning Developments Blue Adjustable Camshaft PulleyTuning Developments Throttle Boddy PulleyBlue Super Kavelar Timing BeltTRD Oil FilterAll Samco Hosing (Blue)TRD Reservoir CoversSPS Clear Cambelt CoverSARD ThermostatTRANSMISSION:TRD 1.5/2 Way LSDTRD QuickshiftORC 309 Single Plate Clutch and Lightened FlywheelSUSPENSION:TRD Adjustable CoiloversWhiteline Anti Lift KitWhiteline Adjustable Panhard RodStandard Front Strut BraceINTERIOR:Ractive Bucket SeatsStripped RearTRD Gear KnobTRD Dial SurroundIndiglo DialsCentre Arm Rest Retrimmed in Red Recaro MaterialHalf Roll CageEXTERIOR:98/99 Spec Custom Front Bumper with optional factory Lip98/99 Spec Rear SplitterGenuine Livesports Rear SpoilerLower Duck SpoilerStandard Factory SideskirtsJAM Replica Front Eyebrows16 Spoom Sport Alloys in WhiteTRD Lug NutsReflet Rear LensesTRD BadgesCustom Made Bonnet Raisers in RedSECURITY:Sigma Alarm SystemI am planning on having the engine work and parts fitted over the next few weeks. A big thanks goes to Dan for removing the engine from the car for me. All the lights have now been removed from the car - and will be replaced with new ones. The rear has been stripped out, and I have removed the front bumper, rear bumper, sideskirts and spoiler. My bumper has also been sent of to Aidan@EPstyling to have the rea lip attached. The car is now ready to have the new body parts fitted and be fully resprayed in its original red colour. The engine will also be sent off to the engineers as my cruise headgasket has arrived this week Here are some pics:More updates to follow soon. I pay a lot of attention to detail alright. I would prefer to do it once and do it properly. I dont put many miles on it, but you can be sure I will once I finish I bought an AE86 Twin Cam a few weeks ago for my current everyday drive until this is finished. I miss boost! The armrest was done by Ecksjay on the forum, and his work is top notch. I just looking forward to getting the engine build underway and the parts fitted at this stage. If it comes out as well as yours I will be happy
