lobotomy
Went to go and have a look at this glanza the other day. Pretty nice I thought, it's a 98, but can anyone spot what worried me slightly?P.S.Sorry Rubix, looks like there may be 2 white Glanza's rolling about east ayrshire
Guest Enzo
yea it dosent have have rev 2 parts?how much is it goin for?
lobotomy
Yeah I asked the guy why it never had the late bumper, he said that there were a period of 98's which didn't come with them. But I did notice a little ding on the front edge of the bonnet, so I thought it'd been in a bump and they just decided to replace the front bumper with an early one (is it true about 98's also having early revision bumpers? - just I could use extra bargaining chips.)They have it advertised at £6995. It depends how much I can get them down if I am to buy it though, because it's totally standard (I had a GOOD look) apart from an exhaust, suspension, wheels, boost gauge and turbo timer. They've also got another 2 glanza's in at the mo, a silver 96, and another white
Guest Enzo
mmm im realy not sure about that but i could see it bein possible..not unless toyota decided to launch the facelifted version on new years day..which i highly doubti think its over priced
Simon
Also has the early spec interior too looks nice though. Have you seen the wine red one with the cage on ebay?
lobotomy
Yeah saw the link for the burgandy one on here earlier. Is it defo koni shocks Wullie? I noticed they were yellow but the car was pretty low so couldn't get a good look, be good if they were.I didn't realise about the early/new bumper/interior situation. Cheers guys. The seats aren't very supportive I found. I always liked the recaro's with the meash headrest.
BlackTarw
That is quite pricey, have you seen the Gt Turbo and Glanza on New Era's site? http://www.neweraimports.com/stock.jspThe white one has TRD suspension...mmm mind you the TOMs kitted GT Turbo looks tasty... SiCaln
yeah they are both pretty tasty, their prices certainly reflect that though
Robbo
Is the 98 glanza SVA'd?
lobotomy
Yep, it's ready for the road. All their cars get SVA'd by their sister company in ireland. Baz's car (97P) was done by them about 6-8 months ago (might be longer baz??)
shelly_star
why hasnt it a got a square plate at the front?
SiCaln
if theyre yellow they could be TRD coillies, thats more likely on an import
lobotomy
I asked the guy but he said they were definately not TRD (because I suggested the same thing to him) - Don't know why he defo knows they aren't if he doesn't know what the are, if you get what I mean.
