ecksjay
looks spotless and cared for what it is to me eck.<{POST_SNAPBACK}>hardly, after seeing/working with/converting/testing as many imports as i have you sort've learn to notice little things like that, and more often than that ones that have been plastered in stickers, had a singular performance driver's seat in and a few other bits and bobs tend to have been ragged senseless, as they dont just do those things over there for fun, it usually serves a purpose. Fair enough you could say that they've all been ragged to death, which is probably true, but there are little things which one can use as more genuine tell tale signs.also, it takes about 30seconds to wind back the mileage on starlets so i'd take that 38k with a pinch of salt on a more positive note, what ecu is in it? and does it have an aftermarket exhaust ?oh and also, give me the suspension. cheekyangel
well thanks for that - i do know a bit about importing and the guy i purchased it from i actually went over to see 0 do you want me tyo start picking holes in your ride?? I have only just joined and finally got the car I have wanted for ages and all you seem intent on doing is having a go - if you aint got nothing good to say dont say anything. cheekyangel
It has a piggy back ecu A jam one apparently very popular in japan :S the exhaust is aftermarket but not sure on make and its coming off as i want a bigger exit pipe. The suspension - not a chance lol its mine all mine mwhahahahahaha sorry about the comment before its just now my pride and joy and only had it a week so a tad over protective of it

I have only just joined and finally got the car I have wanted for ages and all you seem intent on doing is having a go - if you aint got nothing good to say dont say anything.<{POST_SNAPBACK}>feel free, but i suggest you go back and read again, i wasn't picking holes, in fact i never said anything specifically i didnt like, just a general observation. there's know way you'll know how it was treated, but on initial pictures, it probably did have a hard life, you cannot change that fact. Its certainly got a few trick bits on it, and congrats for finding one with a jam, they are indeed quite rare. I'm sure you love it and its a nice little motor, but you should learn to accept a little constructive critisism, if you didnt want comments you wouldn't have posted pics on a public forum. I wish all the best to you, and nothing personal was intended, again it was just a general educated observation. if you do decide to get rid of the suspension then give us a shout, ive heard that those tein kits can be a little firm
cheekyangel
I can take critism but there wasnt anything good about your comments apart from the suspension and ecu - just going to let it drop now sorry if i offended you And I was invited here to post pics through TOC.com someone sent me a pm saying that this was a better place for starlet/glanza owners. beckyp.s can i see some pics of your car?
ecksjay
yeah it probably is, i've heard TOC is pretty much a yaris owners club nowadays, ive only been there once or twice personally, although alot use it merely for the discounts from what i remember.Ye i wasnt meaning anything personal, and i understand why you got offensive but i was just stating an observation. really there aint much you can do about it if i was right, and providing you have no troubles with it neither should you care, because thats all it was, an observation. my apoligies if you took it wrong. this isn't my thread so i wont clog it up with my photo's but feel free to ask me via pm and i'll see what i can do. Nice car mate, dont like the bright orange/red sticker on the back window, but like the rest!! ENJOY the car!!
