is it possible to fit a 4efte inlet mani fold and 4efte bigger throttle body to a 4efe ?we all know

that the rolla manis are a great mod for the n/a but surely you would get more performance out of a

bigger throttle body of the fte jus wondering if any one has done this

cheers folks :D

The 4EFTE inlet mani will fit with some modifications such as the blocking of un needed vaccum lines, removal of the vacuum log that comes with it and a few other things (angle grinding of throttle cable holding area). The 4EFTE throttlebody will not fit because it has completely different sensors.

Yup, just checked it out only problem you will have is the powersteering rack vac pipes theres no "holes" for them everything else checks out

7AFE Tb avaliable from the avensis + carina E

2 coolant pipes on the bottom

3 wires for the TPS (black, blue, red)

3 wires for the ICV (brown, black, black+yellow)

1 vac pipe on top

55mm (internal dia)

Just read......http://www.ukstarletclub.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=9703&hl=7AFE

no point on a corolla mani really, would be better with the FE and FTE.

The fte manifolds sounds much better than the noisey corolla manifold. Really heavy grunt out of it. The 4afe throttle body would be a better option from the 1.6 engine. TPS sensor fits all good and well. the throttlebody will have a gap below it at the manifold so you need a wee plate made up to block this gap. You'll see wat I mean. Also take the throttlebody studs and bolts from the 4afe manifold cause they are longer. Now you can add or reduce spacers to increase your torque with the fte manifold
