eptommi Posted March 15, 2010 Posted March 15, 2010 Hi there, been on here a while now, but only recently bought a Gt turbo.After doing an insurance quote on one of these beauties for a giggle, i was gob smacked when i saw the price. Needless to say, the week after, my civic was sold Then, the weekend after that me and a couple of friends head off on the 5 hour drive to Shipley to pick my GT up. As soon as we got there i fell in love with it and couldnt wait for the 5 hour drive back =]So here she is, pretty standerd at the moment apart from some awful wheels and an unnamed backbox, hopefully this will all change in the future! Shes not much of a looker, and has plenty of little things wrong with her, but shes mine Hope you all like =]Cheers, Tommi. Quote

eptommi Posted March 16, 2010 Author Posted March 16, 2010 Bad times, got a small oil leak somewhere, looks like its coming off the gearbox, thinking it could be to do with a cv joint/driveshaft as theres some clicking under acceleration also :/ Quote
eptommi Posted March 17, 2010 Author Posted March 17, 2010 Well she packed up on me last night, wouldnt start =[Gave her ot my mechanic this morning, hes going to sort that problem plus give the car a complete look over and fix her up =]Also found some old wheels i had lying about and my and a friend are going to refurb them for when i get the car back, were thinking Gold with a polished lip. I want a set of multispoke BBS wheels that were standard on BMW E30's.. lovely wheels.Best of luck with the project I have a soft spot for the Mk1's Quote

eptommi Posted June 5, 2010 Author Posted June 5, 2010 Done a couple of things to the starbo over the last week or so...Gave the Bov a good cleanThen fitted it..Old one pipe offNew one going onAll doneReally happy with the Bov, nice sound to it, looks smart to, cheers to Dj Ep!Also cheers to Durmz for coming and giving us a hand After that i was supposed to be getting some TRD shocks and springs, but sadly fund wouldnt allow buuuuuuuuuuuut managed to pick up these TOMS and a good priceThen set about refurbing themHopefully will have the rest done and on the car by next weekend, cant wait!
