If you have your original topmount intercooler you could put this back on quickly to check if its intercooler based or turbo based.Just tryin to help mate, i had the same problem a while ago and my exhaust was ridiculously loud becuase the circ-clip came off the actuator and had no boost whatsoever!Joe Quote Link to post Share on other sites
nutnut Posted March 27, 2010 Author Share Posted March 27, 2010 checked all the intercooler pipe joints no splits anywhere/Circlip is on the actuator.I was revving the car & manully opening the wastegate with a long screwdriver to see if the turbo will spool but nothing.I do appreciate the help. What does the Circ clip do?Where is it located?The circlip is on the pin that stop the actuator falling of the wastegate.Look down the front of your manifold & you will see the small clip. micky boy Posted March 27, 2010 Share Posted March 27, 2010 On the stock actuator there is two prongs... one vacuum pipe come's off the turbo then to the actuator....The other prong go's to the EFI pipe/ 1st 2nd...boost solenoid....Try blocking that off.. if you are useing the stock actuator....It sounds like the actuator arm isnt pushing the wastgate flap open enuf Quote Link to post Share on other sites
