If you are a man with money get a HKS adjustable actuator and a front mount intercooler (worth it in the long run anyway) will narrow down the problem.

Joe

I have a front mount intercooler.

First turbo stopped working

Got another actuator still didn't work

Second turbo & another actuator

Still not working !!

Thats where im puzzled on this

tears in the silicone hosing or nicks/dents in the hard piping.

If you have your original topmount intercooler you could put this back on quickly to check if its intercooler based or turbo based.

Just tryin to help mate, i had the same problem a while ago and my exhaust was ridiculously loud becuase the circ-clip came off the actuator and had no boost whatsoever!

checked all the intercooler pipe joints no splits anywhere/

Circlip is on the actuator.

I was revving the car & manully opening the wastegate with a long screwdriver to see if the turbo will spool but nothing.

I do appreciate the help.

Can i ask a question for my own knowledge.

What does the Circ clip do?

Where is it located?

The circlip is on the pin that stop the actuator falling of the wastegate.

Look down the front of your manifold & you will see the small clip.

have u got any form of boost controller or bleed valve? its got to be somthing silly. maybe the boost has somehow been turned down,u said it goes to about 2 psi? does it hold there or drop back off? either that or u have been very unlucky with buying fucked parts ie actuators and turbo

Tried with & without aftermarket boost controller

Factory boost solinoid has already been bypassed

run the vac pipe from the actuator straight to the nipple on the turbo. what boost do you get then?

What nipple on the actuator are you on about

as the turbo is connected to the nipple on the top of the actuator

the nipple on the back is connected to the EFI pipe

On the stock actuator there is two prongs... one vacuum pipe come's off the turbo then to the actuator....The other prong go's to the EFI pipe/ 1st 2nd...boost solenoid....Try blocking that off.. if you are useing the stock actuator....It sounds like the actuator arm isnt pushing the wastgate flap open enuf

Found a small crack in the intercooler pipe ( damn speedhumps )

Replaced it & now i have boost

Thank you all for the advice given

Was on the verge of stripping the car for parts & starting a fresh with another V.

Will be going for a nice blast soon & enjoy my boost.
