How Noisy Is Your Turbo Coming On Boost?

just a general question, when i come on the boost i can here my turbo pritty loud and sounds like a jet taking off lol i only have a stock ct9 with an ajustsble acturator set to 0.7 was just wondering is this the norm with turbos?

Running 1.1bar, td04 with relocated front air filter.

ahh yes i have a relocated air filter, made it louder i love it! was just making sure its normal ad i cant afford any problems at the moment :/

yes mate fixed have a verry slight misfire but its going to be something silly, thanks again bud!

^^ have you changed your leads/spark plugs then dizzy cap it prob be one off them

new iridium spark plugs a month ago and the leads and dizzy cap I've not touched since I've had it,its just thr exhaust sort of spitting every now and then on idle so its not big

I can hear the air sucking in an the chatter but as for the turbo i have no idea...

Mine is pretty dam loud & spooling takes a little while to (gt28rs with a side exit exhaust) by the time it spools up people about a mile up the road can hear & are turning around to see whats going on

like? dose it just bypass the exhaust system?

screamer is part of ext wg setup. When the wg opens to regulate boost its sent straight to atmosphere down a smallish pipe called a screamer

believe its better boost control. Internal gates can only be so big dependin on turbo. Externals are much larger. Think thats right.
