Hi guys was thinking of removing the side strips on the starlet. is there any holes or indents behind the strips or just glue.? whats the best way of removing the strips.? is it worth it.?

Just glued on I believe.

Get a hairdryer or something on them to heat up the glue then gently take them off. Then you can use tar remover to get the rest of the glue off.

yes, just glued, i used a hairdryer to heat up 1 end, then slowly peeled it back and got the hair dryer in just behind the strip to heat the glue better, then soaked the left over glued with white spirits using a rag, then scraped away with an ice scraper, just be sure to wash it and polish it after using the white spirits :)

I just did mine recently, heated them with a heatgun to get em off, then hairdryer + "sticky stuff remover spray" for £4.99 from halfords to get the glue and residue off, worked a charm.

aRGHHHHHHHHHHHH.!!!! I dont know if its the glue on my car or what but this toffee wheel is pissing me off.! ive been at it for ages and the glues not even coming off.!?!?

thatll b like same sorta stuff i bet lol just spray it on so its soaked it (just be carefull not to get it on any black plastics or and newish paint) thn it should come strait off, mine did neways lol

its not in a spray bottle dude, but pretty sure you could either find another brand in a spray bottle, or just find an empty spray bottle, and squirt it on :lol:

im actually really pissed of with this toffee wheel i got.!! i had a little go nothing came of atall.! i rang the guy he goes just put presure. i did that and still nothing came of so i thort f**k it,next day looked at my car and theres yellow marks were i tryed to do it on the bodwork. so i rang him again he said T cut it it should come out and guess what i did that nd nothing.!!!!!! :) still got all that shitty glue were the side strips came of nd now some shitty yellow marks. ARGHHHH.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
