ali_legend
Hi guys was thinking of removing the side strips on the starlet. is there any holes or indents behind the strips or just glue.? whats the best way of removing the strips.? is it worth it.? cheers guys
Kennedy
Just glued on I believe.Get a hairdryer or something on them to heat up the glue then gently take them off. Then you can use tar remover to get the rest of the glue off.
ryan lang
yes, just glued, i used a hairdryer to heat up 1 end, then slowly peeled it back and got the hair dryer in just behind the strip to heat the glue better, then soaked the left over glued with white spirits using a rag, then scraped away with an ice scraper, just be sure to wash it and polish it after using the white spirits
Kangaroo
as above, but i wud leave them on
ShafzC
I just did mine recently, heated them with a heatgun to get em off, then hairdryer + "sticky stuff remover spray" for £4.99 from halfords to get the glue and residue off, worked a charm.Shafz.
bullet513
i removed the ones on my old starlet, heated up to remove strips, and there is an attachment to a drill or angle grinder that takes it off nicely, cant remember what its called though
