blackberry users?

alright guys, my mrs is having a pproblem with her blackberry messenger, when trying to add new contacts her friends arnt recieving her requests it just says pending (waiting for authorization) any ideas?

Try restarting the phone, tuen it off, remove battery, then restart the phone and try again. See if she can add them too, as in them sending requests

Yup Amjad said it all, Battery pull = the Blackberrys saviour, I end up having to battery pull once every 2 days :|

An alternative is to download the Battery pull app for free from BB app world, but I always do it manually

gave that a try, didnt work. i have 2 blackberrys infront of me trying to add the pins from both handsets and still cant get the messenger to work

any other ideas lol

Has she got a sim card that has BBM on it?

I brought a BB and my sim card wouldn't let me use BBM due to me having to activate it.. I sold it within a week

well the sim card came with the fone so it should be activated.

its pissing her off shes been fucking about with it for hours

What network is it on? Ring them up and ask them to see if it is activated on her sim or not

look on the top right corner on the screen. is it showing GPRS or gprs (caps or non caps), if lower caps its not activated.

if u bought it pay as you go and have fitted a contract sim into it then its because you need bb service plan same thing happened to me dude

gprs in lower case buddy. how do i activate it?

phone your provider up. just say you want to activate "data plan" u goto pay £5 a month. gprs should be capitals when you have data plan activated. then you can use emails, bb msgs etc.
